What Sin Are You Most Guilty Of?

morals are relative.

Sloth and Lust

All of them at one time or the other. Least of which I think Wrath. I don't get uncontrolled rage fits but I sometimes feel like having one.

Due to moral relativity, you could easily be sinning in the eyes of everyone else yet be perfect in your own. :p

I'm late to the party, but morals aren't relative. If you'd like we could open up a thread where we discuss this!

Anyway for me I would probably say sloth.

Extramarital sex, usury, eating shrimp and lobster (Lev. 11:9-12) and pork, wearing two fabrics simultaneously, shaving, making graven images of all sorts of things on the earth and in the water, dreaming non-God dreams (Deut. 13:5), etc.

Lust would have to be the big one weighed upon my shoulders...

Though I'm quite personal about it and in fact disparage public displays appealing to sex...

Of course I'm speaking through the concept that it is a 'sin'

I believe in balance (not really in the asiatic fashions) and that the proper live is lived through moderation and regulation of sin; having that sin doesn't make you bad, though it may be a negative aspect...

Sloth, Trolling.

The others not so much; I'm not particularly excitable or carnal.

Crap, I'm a moron who totally missed the word: "most"

Sloth would be the one I would pick at the moment since it's 10 million degrees at the moment and I really feel like doing nothing at all.

Ranked

1. Sloth, as it gets in the way of me doing all those other sins, not to imply I'm innocent of the others.

2. Pride- My pride is the reason I have little pride.

3. Lust- Actually... this one might become number one pretty soon.

4. Greed- I'll put this one in the middle. I strongly desire wealth, power and status. I don't want it for myself, I want to be a multi-billionaire so I can have the resources to help people. Plus my sloth gets in the way anyway.

5. Wrath- It used to be my number 1. But, now things don't get to me the way they used to.

6. Envy- Only to the extent that I want it, but I really don't care that you have it.

7. Gluttony- I would give up my plate for you.

I am guilty of memorizing the seven deadly sins due to Fullmetal Alchemist.

Awesome

This has to be my worst, definitely:

(Dis)honourable mentions: lust, greed, sloth

Only occasionally: gluttony

Rarely: envy, pride (or so I say of myself)

If we're going to define sins as "urges that result in actions that result in me doing things that I shouldn't be doing", then it's definitely either sloth or gluttony. Especially if you calculate in opportunity cost; there're people dying agonising deaths every minute, for easily preventable reasons, and I really should be working on helping solve those problems. But, some evenings, I watch TV instead.

If it was my own kid that was about to die due to starvation-induced disease, I'd be working harder to find a solution. The fact that I'm not, just because it's someone else's kid, is a sin. Truly.

I'd have to disagree with that. There's only so much you can do before you start taking away from your kids to help someone else's.
