Well when talking to guys I use terms like "Bro, brotha', dude, man, homie...etc.) However none of these work wen talking to females often leaving me a little confused about what to say...
Are there any comparable terms that can be used when talking to a girl? Sista', and dudette jusat sound weird to me...
Please help
If she's older and you want to be respectful, then "Ma'am" works well.
If she's younger and you want to get on her good side, then her name usually works well. If you're close in a romantic way, then there are all sorts of nicknames you could use instead - pet, bear, sweetie, baby, etc....
I generally call girls by their names, unless I'm messing around, in which case I call them whatever fits into what I'm doing. (Yesterday at a party I was at, two girls are slapping each others backsides for no apparent reason - I called them members of a "wicked and perverse generation" and one of them a "debaucherous daughter of Satan".

They knew me, so they thought that was hilarious, as it was intended to be)
There's a girl I know that I love to annoy - call her C - that I call a whole host of names. Baby C (She signed my yearbook that way!), Woman, Little Woman, the Blond One, and so on. But that's just one aspect of my psychological campaign I'm warring against her.

She's just one of those people it's great to make fun of, in a friendly way. (And apparently she isn't too put off by all this, despite smacking me every now and then - she usually waves and gives me a hug when I leave

)
It really all depends on the circumstances. Is this a girl you're messing around with? Or a girl that you like? Or is it a woman you don't, and you want to be respectful with? When in doubt, just use her name.
