Sounds like a bethesda model with a bad skeleton.

*sigh* I wish Aimee would want to play XCOM and see how she would create her magic with it :)

I did another runthru of Gabriel Knight 2 (Beast Within), fantastic adventure.
If you like mystery story telling and games where it can be felt how much effort was put into them, you should not pass on this gem.
Even if it's old, but gold.

I loved Sins of the Fathers ! Which even got it's own modern remake - but I still love old Sierra version ;)

I was playing around with a save editor in Mass Effect 2.

Spoiler :
If you bring Legion along when you meet with the Citadel Council (I suppose this could be done legitimately if you really hold it off), they'll actually tell the Council outright that Sovereign was not a geth ship. The Council doesn't care.

Also bringing along Legion to fetch the Reaper IFF is funny. Shepard and the third squadmate throw invisi-Legion into the airlock while Legion themselves provides covering fire.

I made a video of that last part! :smug:

Spoiler :

The Long Dark: Four Days of Night begins October 27th. It will be the same as last year, so the first day will be free of wildlife, giving you 24 hours to gear up and get ready for the coming storm. As last year, light sources have double normal durations (or, in the case of lanterns, use fuel at half the normal rate), and you'll be able read books and make repairs in the dark (iirc, you can't draw maps at all during 4DON, so don't bother picking up charcoal), and there will be "Trick or Treat" dishes at some houses, with supercharged candy bars. One tip: If you find a flashlight, hang onto it, even though you won't be able to use it right away.

I pulled my old consoles out of a cardboard box and set them up in the bedroom as that TV has RWY hookups. I've got the Wii, N64 and PS2 hooked up but hidden behind the TV itself and I'm thinking of dabbling in some of my older games. There is a Wii game that I rented a few times but don't own and I've got this serious itch to pick up a $5 copy off of EBay but I really shouldn't. It's called Alien Syndrome and it's a top-down loot shooter that's pretty fun.
This really reminds me of that legendary time when Ozzy Osbourne locked himself up in a hotel room with pizza and cocaine and stayed there for I don't know how many days. Be careful.

I found an old copy of Paper Mario 64 on that Wii. I booted it up and was afraid I'd be lost and wouldn't find out what to do but it turned out I was at the final dungeon. I played for a few hours last night and beat it this morning. I love it when I finish a game in my collection, gives me a big shot of endorphins.

There's a copy of Super Mario RPG on there as well that I think I'm going to try and finish next. I've attempted to beat it three times in the past - first, my SNES died. Then I started again on Wii and got to a point at the very end where I could not advance as the difficulty jumped significantly. Then I restarted the game with the intention to crazy hardcore with grinding to avoid that same fate but got bored and gave up. *cracks knuckles* Time to see if I can muscle through.

I also played my old copy of Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga but I've already beaten it and got a 94% complete. I wanted to try and get to 100% complete but the game does not do a good job of telling you what you're missing or where so after wasting an hour replaying a mission and exploring every nook and cranny for collectibles that it turns out I already have, I have given it up for good.

I'm also squeezing in some time on Sim City DS which I found in that stack of old games but the controls are so horrid I am probably going to give it up soon as well.

I guess all of Tamriel is doomed now.

For about 30 seconds, until Martin pops back up again. :)

I always make a point of picking him up at Kvatch before doing the slaughterfish quest. I have no idea why.

Floating face down in the Niben River?

I think it was Lake Rumare.

You are of course right. The Niben flows into the Topal Bay past Bravil and Leyawiin.

People have told me that before. Then again, that was 15-20 years ago. :p
