I didn't want to get an infraction!

I am not surprised in the slightest to see you running a household twice the normal legal size.

I merged the Ottomas family with the Newson family and put them on a 2x2 lot. One of the Ottomas kids actually disappeared out of the family portrait because it was so crowded.

Because of course you did. ;)

Still haven't managed the Trench Run in the B-wing (BW 'Historical' Mission 6), though.
Update to the above. I've now polished off (B-Wing) Bonus Mission 3 (capture an Imperial Frigate; based on Tour III Missions 7+8, which used an A-Wing + Y-Wing) and Bonus Mission 6 (A-W interception of multiple waves of TIE-Bombers attacking Cruiser mothership), and completed BW Historical Mission 6 as well! (Yay!)
Spoiler How I dun it... :
I dumped all my cannon-energy into my shields initially, putting cannons on slow recharge but diverting all shield-recharge energy to the engine for more speed. I avoided going head to head with the incoming TIEs by climbing above them (also taking me out of laser-turret range), so I made it level with the Trench before I had to turn and dogfight them (killed 2, the 3rd ran). Then I replenished my shields from cannons again, and dived in. Once in the Trench you get a convenient engine-power boost (also happens in the original Tour III Mission 14), so I put shields back to the neutral-charge setting, shifting cannon-energy to shields as needed and blasting every turret I could with what was left, and staying as low as possible to make it more difficult for the TIE-As and TIE-Is zooming about overhead to hit me with their missiles. I was still pretty near shredded by the time I got to the exhaust-port, but 2 torps down its throat meant Mission Complete (conveniently, and unlike all the other missions, it's not necessary to evac afterwards!).
So now I'm pretty much done with this pilot-file (as a combat-hardened General with a total score >2.5 million).

The only thing still missing from this record is basic training on the Y-W and B-W (completion of the Maze to at least Level 5 — or Level 8 for the flight-badge). I took the Y-W to Level 3 yesterday, but then wifey called me downstairs, so I hyper'ed out. Was kind of funny at that point to get the scripted comms-message from my 'trainer': "Not bad, but you still need training!" Yeah, no, don't think so

I've been playing @techumseh 's Burma Campaign: 1942 - 1945 for Civ2 Test of Time Patch Project.

It's a very enjoyable scenario made by one of the master's of scenario design and depicts, as the name would suggest, the Burma theatre during WW2. This was a very unknown theatre to me so I'm enjoying playing. It's your typical Techumseh scenario in that units are gained via events and the technology tree and most can't be built. It's well-balanced and well worth checking out.

If you haven't been paying attention to what we're doing with Civ2, it has been modified by @TheNamelessOne to the extent that we now have several additional scenario-building tools. You should consider dusting off your copy of Test of Time and installing the patch project to see what we're up to. There are about a half dozen designers churning out scenarios as we speak, some with powerful, lua-scripted events, and it's worth another look.

Here's the link to Burma's thread: https://forums.civfanatics.com/threads/burma-campaign-1942-45-download-now.653278/page-2

Here's a link to a youTube video I made showing off Techumseh's scenario a bit:

The title of this thread is literally my approach to XCOM2. I literally just went to skymods and instaled every single graphic and voice mod. And the bloody PC still chugs along as if nothing was happening. I think I may have built my self a monster.

Fallout 3 installed. Running. Now just to copy over the 50gb of mods from an old HD.

If you are interested in learning more about it, I read an excellent book on the Burma Theater / British South Asia in WWII - Forgotten Armies: The Fall of British Asia

Picked up 'Pillars of Eternity' the 1st week it released, however, didn't have much time to play it until now; patience is a virtue; rewarded with 2 extra expansions: 'The White March' parts 1 & 2.

Thoroughly enjoying this game.

Imagine playing an updated version of those classic computer RPGs from back-in-th'-day such as Interplay's 'Baldur's Gate' & 'Baldur's Gate 2: Shadows of Amn' or 'Icewind Dale' with streamlined gameplay and a improved look... and you've got 'Pillars of Eternity' only this time around you can construct your own castle. :c5war::c5happy:

I need to go away for a little while.

I wasn't actually able to get the game properly working. It always crashes upon save. :dunno:

I get the Pokemon newsletter, and I just got word of...this:
https://swordshield.pokemon.com/en-us/expansionpass/

Which makes me a bit uncomfortable, because I'm worried it might be a slippery slope to microtransactions. I don't play Sword or Shield anyways (don't have a Switch), but... :undecide:

The Expansion Pass replaces the third version that's normally released in every generation, so the extra content introduced in that third version is now an expansion to the games instead of a separate game. Among the content featured in the expansion is 200 of the older Pokémon that are missing in the Pokédex of the current games.

I found some custom skyboxes (well, skydomes) for TS2. :)

Oops.

Kenshi is like The Sims meets Mount and Blade meets Fallout

sort of, I'm missing something in there. Super fun, crazy.

How do I use a stimpack on dogmeat and katja in Fallout 1?

Edit:
Figured it out. You have to equip it to your 2 inventory slots and left click on it. I think I can beat the Super Mutant base without losing any companions now.

Edit 2:
I did it! It took about 3 hours and liberal use of save scumming, but I finally cleared the base without losing anyone. It was tough because the Super Mutants were armed with gatling guns, gatling lasers, turbo plasma guns and rocket launchers which were all capable of one-shot killing my companions if the RNG gods frowned on them. There was one point where if I stepped left, Ian got fragged by a rocket and if I stepped right, Dogmeat would get cut up by a chain gun. It was like threading the needle. It was frustrating but it feels like an accomplishment to get through it with my squad intact. I could have cleared it in less than an hour if I had been willing to let any of them die.

I believe there is only one dungeon left, the cathedral. I'm going to attempt to put a nuke inside it and blow it up without fighting the boss.
