Read the later reply, it was two games plus a seasonal pass plus a government-imposed 30% tax on buying things imposed just because.75 $ ?
It's 36 € (so maybe 40-45 $ ?) on GOG.
Just so you know, if you're looking at the same sort of old-school-party-based-RPG, there is also Pillars of Eternity 2 : Deadfire and Pathfinder : Kingmaker. Both great.
There is no more seasonal pass for PoE1, and the version I linked already includes the expansions, so that's basically the same content.Read the later reply, it was two games plus a seasonal pass plus a government-imposed 30% tax on buying things imposed just because.
So basically facepalm.
It's not really "largely" the same.Is the user interface of Fallout 2 improved over that from Fallout 1 or is it largely the same?
Did they make any improvements at all in the gameplay? It's not really "largely" the same.
It's EXACTLY the same. Fallout 2 is a mod of Fallout 1 that is twice the size of the original game, basically.
The only change I can remember is that hand to hand fighting includes kicks (bigger damage, 4 AP) and punches (lower damage, 3 AP) instead of just punches.Did they make any improvements at all in the gameplay?
So far I've been enjoying it ! Moff was right , it has that special "one more turn" feeling !The battle is simplified and lacks that tactical depth - perhaps later in game when fleets are gonna be bigger I'll have some more options, so far I've only fought small pirate frigates. The overall strategy screen is somewhat lacking - I miss some kind of "civilopedia" The ship design is allright but it lacks weapon modifiers description. Despise this issues I have, I really enjoy it.
