From this list below, what's the coolest kind of warfare:

Stone Age Warfare: Stone axes, spears, and clubs.

Ancient/Medivel Warfare: Bows and arrows, swords, maces, horses, castles, battleaxes, and so on.

Early Industrial Age Warfare: The kind of warfare they had in the 1600s and 1700s. Where horses were still ridden, english soldiers wore red jackets that made them incredibly visible targets, and people shot at each other with muskets and cr@ppy rifles.

Late Industrial Age Warfare: The kind of weapons they had in WW2. People shot assualt rifles and machine guns, flew aircraft, and rode tanks, but there were no missles, stealth technolgy, spy satillites, or any these other luxurys that make warfare so easy today.

Modern Day Warfare: Jets that cost $200,000,000 a piece, missles that can pinpoint a target 100 miles away, artillery rounds that can destroy an area the size of a football feild, and other stuff like that.

My personal favourite kind is late industrail age warfare. I like machine guns, sniper rifles, and tanks, but with all due respect modern warfare is for sissys when you compare it to what fighting used to be.

I've always been fond of bronze and iron age ancient warfare. Legions, war elephants, phalangites. A time where a good general and a single army could reshape the world. I also think a nuclear war would be pretty neat if you could watch it from orbit. I remember there was an episode of Stargate Atlantis where the Atlantis team nuked the Asuran homeplanet, and you could see the mushroom clouds and the spread of the shock waves from orbit. I thought that was pretty cool.

Medieval all da way!

Tho i would have chosen phycological if it had been a difference aspect of warfare choices.

Aww, these are weird choices...

I prefer Biological Warfare (which I assume falls under Modern). :nuke:

What about naval warfare? I voted for early industrial because of the age of sail and the British Royal Navy.

Other than that I would agree with the whole ancient warfare with great generals idea.

Stone age warfare, if it existed would be the coolest.

Nothing beats smashing someone on the head with a club and stealing there woman! :D

And its only laws that stop you doing that now isnt it Xan...

:pat:

Giant Death Robot warfare, if it existed would be the coolest.

Nothing beats smashing someone on the head with a metallic fist and stealing their woman! :D

Muses.. yeah, head smash would be fun

Ancient/Medieval because I would actually get a chance to conquer the world without having to dodge ICBMS.

Psychological - Because you get to screw with the heads of your enemies and the damage you can do is permanent for life.
