There's some smart people around but there are also some self-absorbed little weiners who love to post stuff like "well I got a 90000 on an IQ test but IQ tests dont mean anything" or "Well I took 23523 AP tests but those dont really measure anything". All in all we're definitely above average but we aren't NEARLY as high as our individual members tend to think they are.
Overall I think the fake intelligence and maturity that's touted around here sucks. That's why I've made it my personal goal to drastically lower the collective maturity level around here!
I think chucki said he had 90, that's no doubt due to his Aspergers, if you take out all the conditions that eliminate fair marking by an IQ test you probably have about 75% of the population.
IQ tests really test your ability to do IQ tests and not much else, and this becomes less and less accurate as you pass 12 yrs of age(where the sort of education you get gradually matters more, for example if you study the literature or maths inherent in western education, then your IQ test results should be a bit higher, where as if you live on the streets of Rangoon are pretty much unschooled but are literate they should be markedly worse) Woooh yes I have an arbitrarily large number and I'm an idiot, there you happy now fifty

maturity level sliding to oblivion

IQ tests are accurate within a small band of what they test for, but should not be used to measure intelligence generally. They are good for determining if you'll fair well in education or a particular job, but comparisons between different ethnic groups etc is fraught with unreliability.
Apparently those who are religous tend to fair less well than atheists/agnostics so I've heard but really don't quote me
A more likely explanation is societal not your focus on a divine entity or lack of one.
EDIT: I looked at some of the bias as well apparently Jews and asians score higher, well who'da thunk
