I live in Arlington, Virginia, which for those of you who don't know, is the place across the Potomac River from Washington DC. I'm part of the large group of DC metro cfcers.

So Belgium as populated as India, is it like an inside joke or something?

I think the areas are partly sized by number of posters:)

Uhm, no, not an inside joke.
India : 366.3 Indians per square kilometre.
Belgium : 354.7 Belgians per square kilometre.

Born in the US, live in Canada.

Find it odd that Canada wasn't on your list, even if lumped in with the US.

Well it depends on how you look at it, some say its the Republic of Bosnia, some say its Yugoslavia, some say its Bosnia and Herzegovina, some say its Republika Srpska, some say its Serbia, some say its Croatia, some say its the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, some say its the SFRY, some say its the Kingdom of Yugoslavia, some say its Turkey, some say its Illyria...

Blasted, I knew I forgot one

Born and still live in America.

Can a moderator replace The united stateswith The United States or Canada, please?
Please don't feel offended, though. Pakistan and Bangladesh, both having the quadruple population of Canada, aren't on the list either, because I had not enough space.

That's okay, I'd rather vote other :p Although you still made the same thread two days in a row.

Not surprisingly, Europeans with Germanic native languages appear to be more common on this English speaking forum than Europeans with Romanic/Latin native languages, relative to the countries' total population.

(although the poll option for Spain seems to be missing)

Hey, our community may have changed.

...

I requested to lock the other one, as it had no other option and some countries were left out.

Iberian peninsula.

now i'm confused about it myself. let's just say "not surprisingly". edited. :D

I didn't notice that until after I posted, so that is okay then.

Iberian peninsula.
Might as well have just made the poll land masses & island groups.

Seriously? Is Portugal or Spain too hard to spell? Might as well have just made the poll land masses & island groups.

Uh, excuse me, Iberian peninsula is exactly the same as 'Portugal or Spain', except if you live in Gibraltar.

:sarcasm:

Oh please. If we're going to lump areas of cultural and economic similarity, Canada and the US make perfect sense as an option.
