Which television shows are you watching? Part III

J. Lee in The Orville just isn't a believable actor. It's kind of frustrating when he's featured because he seems so fake and stilted in every scene. He also can't deliver a joke to save his life which doesn't help as the show has de-emphasized the humor in the second half of the first season.

He's an engineer, so he's fake and stilted and can't deliver a joke...that's the joke.

I know what you're saying but I don't agree. He's not natural, at least in the first season. I just looked him up and spoiled a plot development :(

I also just realized his character's last name is LaMarr. :)

Avenue 5 with Hugh Laurie is funnier than I thought it would be. It's about a cruise ship stuck in deep space unexpectedly. Pretty funny stuff.

The Dragon Prince S3 came to an end. On a cliffhanger. Dammit. @Synsensa Do you know if there's an S4 planned?

One ep left of Luke Cage S2, and The OA Part I.

Have picked up The IT Crowd again (I watched 1-2 eps a while back, can't remember why I didn't watch more). Laughing like a drain.

As far as I know, they've got free rein to finish the story. I'm glad you've enjoyed it! :D

Season 2 Episode 1 of IT Crowd is by far the most hilarious episode of the series.

IT Crowd is some of the funniest stuff

Edit: I binge watched all the available episodes of Avenue 5 on HBO Go and I highly recommend it. It is very smartly written with awesome acting. The show has a Karen, literally named Karen, that is totally a Karen, and yet she's delightful. Seriously great cast and writing. It is goofy sci fi, so if you expect it to be hard/accurate/realistic, you will be disappointed.

S2 of Jessica Jones was pretty good, but....

Spoiler :
I did not like how it ended with Trish. Too obvious and likely not a good dynamic for S3. We'll see though.

One episode away from The Mentalist's final episode!

I hope that you haven't been streaming it illegally. Downloading films is stealing.

I'm frequently told that The IT Crowd is an average comedy at best.
Why don't you watch it? There's a clip I embedded right above that post. Look up the Windows Vista robot video, it's one of the best scenes in the entire series and that is saying something.

I have all four series and the special "The Internet is Coming" on DVD.

So why are you taking other people's opinion as more valid than your own actual opinion on something so subjective as whether the series is good or not?

I sense an impending paradox here, but why? It's your opinion on whether you like something or not.

If anything it probably means that it's awful since I have poor taste in everything.
*pinches bridge of nose Picard-style*
This is circular logic at its ugliest. Don't let them tell you what to like!

You have chosen to participate in a pretty fabulous forum for 16 years. :p

^Heed that, your opinion should be overridden by Birdjaguar's.
