While We Wait: (Almost) Anything Goes

Hey everyone. Was thinking about NESing the other day. I'm glad there's still activity here and in IOT.

Wow, nostalgia trip. Went down the rabbit hole for a while... sad to see what transpired considering Amons' Motherhen was one of the first NES's I came to enjoy. 08, 09? Time flies.

Awesome that you guys are keeping this alive. NES is really an experience more people should become aware of. Even lurking was fun..

Happy New Years ya'll!

Sort of made this account to tell you discord links don't work like that. I'm not really to partial to IRC myself, but would be open to a discord server, especially one that hosts paradox matches. At any rate, NESing is cool, and the only things approaching it in complexity I've ever seen are a few Council Games on SB, a few Arms Races on Bay12, and the AH forum's bizzare obsession with election games. I can always respect something that people put so much effort into making.

Also, feel free to join TNES or MigrationNES, or take a look at the IOT forum where there are also some quality games.

I'm thinking of actually attempting an NES in the form of a Team vs. Team wargame. Would anyone be interested in something like that?

I'm planning to host DaftNESV here on this very forum in the near future - it will be a tribal start NES using graphical icons in pixel-art style, advancing through the ages. In otherwords a repeat of several past projects (some that didn't last very long) but, applying the experience and life lessons, hopefully with more success :)

Yes, assuming this is the one you mentioned in Discord :)

I am going to be all over that.

It feels like some life is coming back to forum these days...
