While I for one am glad that our troops have accomplished their objective and can finally come home, I for one find the timing of this news suspicious, with an election year on us that was unfavorable to Obama, but now suddenly swung back into his favor? Not to mention that we haven't heard from Osama in at least 4 or 5 years, something deep inside me thinks he was dead long before this month and the government was waiting for this moment to release this news on us. Even the CIA said this back in 2008 or so.

Despite this news, I for one will not be voting Obama.

Disclaimer: Even though the above tone of the message may show me as a pessimistic, do not get me wrong, I am overjoyed that our troops have finally tracked down this infamous person. I am just voicing what some people might be thinking and wondered what others thought about the timing of everything. For all I know it could be an extremely good coincidence.

There's a big flaw in that plan: it's still a long time before the election campaign. If indeed, like you said, he's been dead for a while, then Obama is quite idiotic for breaking the news now rather than in say ~10 months. And I really doubt someone that idiotic could become President.
