Wish I lived in american time zones! I believe Tuxedohamm is in Europe though?
So can you like conduct your turn at any point during the day, and it updates at a certain time each day?
You know, I actually defended you, but now you're attacking me, so now you're on your own.
... Damn, I really need to cement this, I'm sorry about further cluttering of the thread Daft. Should we let things go on in WWW?
We should.
When I exercise patience, NESes tend to end up dead. At least when I agitate people realise it's dead (plus the about 1% of cases where they actually update).
This is simply not true. NESes end up dead for a variety of reasons, NEVER because you didn't repeatedly annoy everyone by demanding an update.
A NES will update, if the mod of the NES wants to. You poking him will have ZERO effect. If anything is it most likely to piss him off and reduce the chance of him wanting to update.
You have been told a thousand times not to do it, I don't understand when you persist. Not a single mod has EVER responded positively from you bumping a thread, but you aways get hounded for it. Why can't you take the hint?
I admit that less then one hundreth of the time does my nagging have the effect of causing an update (although I think I remember it working once or twice...). I primarily do it for two reasons:
1- As a 'check', to help me figure out how likely it is an NES will end up dead.
2- Because being a mod implies a commitment to update- if they want to stop, they should formally bring the NES to an end.

But it upsets the moderators he does it to as well, not us rabble?
