Spore has it's moments, though if you lose your CD Key you're out of luck. Personally, I occasionally still play, if only to drain the oxygen out of the atmospheres of unsuspecting civilizations. There's just so many creative ways to figure out to slaughter entire sentient spieces.

I see that you have successfully completed your N3S Update before I have completed my own. I concede defeat in this matter.

However.

I'm by no means cowed by this setback. I'll challenge you to another race, double or nothing. I will complete not only this current update, but three more updates of GalaxyNES before you are able to release a single update of your own.

This is so exciting.

Your challenge may seem ludicrously skewed towards me to others. But I am not fooled. Your NES has no stats, few orders, and the updates run much less than a third as long as End of Empires' do on average.

And yet, for all of that, I am nothing if not a thrill seeker, and a good challenge sounds entertaining.

I think its going to require more out of your players than you anticipate, especially with a straight story game like Galaxy. (like, if spyro tried to do multiple quick updates for eternal myth, it would never work. I haven't been playing Galaxy but mike has talked my ear off about it.

And he has, for instance, moved to the sticks (in the sense that Greensboro is a reasonable urban center) I'm unclear if he even has internet anymore. OTOH I know him to be fanatical about the One. 2 rapidfire Updates from now I predict player revolt for Iggy. The fourth update will be all NPC's.

My money's on NK.

Feel like Iggy has a slight edge...but NK when he's hyped can be awsome. Pity I just can't seem to get into either NES.

While Iggy is precocious...and certainly a good updater...

Of course, I still like Iggy. I just won't allow myself to join because I am no longer a consistent story writer. Well actually, I should say instead of just looking at a thread until I get an idea, write it up, post it, proof it after it gets posted, revise for about an Hour, I would save it on Word, outline the plot, write a bit at a time, then when I am almost done chop it down or add details, then finish, then revise about three times, then post.

No idea of the utility to anyone here, but today I learned you can download 3ds Max (among other things, like AutoCAD and Maya) for free from the manufacturer if you're a student. So if anybody has aspirations to 3D modeling, that might be of interest.
