My wife and I are going out to our work party tonight as a Roman General and his mistress.
I have an authentic uniform with real cloth used in the time, 1 Spanish Gladius, 1 dagger (both of which I have to register with the city as weapons), bronze chest protector, bronze shin protectors, bronze helmet with red and black plume, Roman soldier's sandals.
She will have a dress made with silk and cloth, sandals.
All together the price was around 1200 dollars, mine being close to 1000, but well worth it.
My daughter will wear a princess costume we bought for her at a local store that she wanted. My dog will wear a horse and saddle costume, and my cat will wear nothing.

@Terrance888 of course its the best tank that was never made! Who cares if it destroys infrastructure as it goes, is very slow, and a a target for all enemy air and artillery? It would win through sheer awesomeness
