While We Wait: Part 5

Comrades no fun if comrades don't go to #nes. j/k you don't want to go there cause it's empty save for me and Chieftess

Also, I never realized how awfully godawful stupid some comrades in the Internet can be. I mean, I guess it's okay to be ignorant but they don't have to be so adamant about it!

Edit: Awww missed comrade Dachs by five minutes! Hahaha.

Explain the methodology for those who have no idea about how to access this #nes thing... some of us are not well inclined to the use of technology…

Click the "Chat" button above-right of "post reply" and in-between "gallery" and "FAQ."

A new window will load with an applet (you'll need Java Runtime for that). Replace Channel: [civfanatics] with Channel: [nes] and you're good to go!

User is mildly annoyed at the apparent inability of posters on this here subforum to read the rest of the thread. I explained this to lj not long ago. :p At the top of the CFC page, there is a link called "Chat" (it's between "Gallery" and "FAQ"). Click on it. A new window will open, with some Java goodness. After it finishes loading, you will be met with a series of inputs. You should probably give yourself a name other than Guest, and instead of going onto the 'civfanatics' channel, you replace that input with #NES. Then click connect, wait for IRC to slowly connect you, and you're done. To get out of it, click "Disconnect" in the lower right hand corner of the IRC window, or enter /quit.

EDIT: User is also a slow typist. Sorry about that. ;)

Strategos is with me right now. He claims to be a Class-A rarity there. Quickly join if you wish to speak with him over loose channels!

Well Mr Chicken, my NES is only delayed by the state of Asia at the time, Alex im starting to like China at least it has clear borders..

Yes, it's an island of stability amidst a sea of chaos, at least under the Ming Dynasty. Then the Qing went and expanded into vague territories that were a hell to get right in the old map; it's probably easier in the new map, though, since a lot of that was because of basic mistakes that only become apparently when you're working on Mongolia or something.

I am looking for free, informative data and walkthroughs of some of the systems presented in this book (see p. 321 on), particularly with regard to:
  • Tactical Numerical Deterministic Model
  • Situational Force Scoring
  • Adaptive Dynamic Model
Lanchester is nice and all, but if you can have something better, why not take it? The bounty is my reciprocation in problem-solving, should it be required.

I will repeat that my computer refuses to log on to IRC, and yes, I have the latest version of java. I believe that I have the same problem that North King is suffering from on his new computer.

Have you tried going through Trillian? Apparently that has worked for someone else here, if you know that the server is irc.irc-chat.net.

I don't understand. My signature is too long?

It just have 3 Lines Poem.
1 Line Announcement.
1 Line advetizement.

Whatever happened, I got infraction for that. Beware!

? Also, what does an infraction point do?

no. Fanasy NESes are srs bissns.
Oh, I'm sorry, I mistook your use of 'realistic' for, you know, realistic as opposed to completely divorced from reality but still using its cloak as an effort to gain legitimacy or something like that jeez I'm tired.

I went to the Rockstar Energy Mayhem Festival in Atlanta on Tuesday. It was pretty awesome, and there was alot of illegal substances with plenty of kind sharing people.

It's a little late, but the TL installment is up, and it's a doozy. Nearly 30 pages in Word. Dachs needs to rest and Dachs needs to eat Hot Pockets.

While we're waiting... I've just reopenned my old NES that I said would never die. So... Go join it, right dadgum now! It's the longest running NES ever, and there's plenty of space for you to claim a country.
