You all fail genetically :p

I have great eyes. Though I have a big nose, am rather thin, have bad skin and get pubes on my arms and shoulders sometimes. So yeah.

I win then :p

Also British + Swedish + Prussian and resident of the world's superpower.

...but I could get in trouble if we keep this up :scan:

I've had no sense of smell myself for as long as I remember. I remember, when I was 5 or so, wondering why my grandmother was telling me to smell the flowers in the garden, but I didn't make the connection until about 10 years later. What finally made me realize was a bad joke about vomit; I'd always thought that the cliche chain-vomit happened because people were for some weird reason really squeamish about its appearance, never realized it had a smell.

Elaborate.

No Brandenburgers or Pomeranians allowed.

Königsberg and the surrounding area, if I remember correctly. I don't have my genealogical information on hand to provide ancestral names though. I also have ancestors from Saarbrücken, but that's besides the point.

That's quite urpreußisch. You probably ought to have said "German", though.

I could have thrown almost everything under "Germanic", now that I think about it.

Aryan ..

Shh!! I was trying to avoid that particular word. ;)

Of course ;0

You'd be using a language group to describe your short-term ancestry? Sounds kinda stupid to me.

I congratulate you on your astuteness. Very edifying.

I know pretty much all of my own updates have hurt by not knowing what to do, where to go next, or having the confidence to trust in my own writing abilities. From talking with other NESers I also know that these same problems apply to multiple people. Would a "Help Me With My Update Thread" be a good idea? In this thread, basically you can apply to have a neutral third party read a rough draft of your update for peer review, as well as discuss different types and methods for producing a successful update.

If this thread were successful, I think we might see a lot more NESes lasting more than simply 1-3 updates.

It could probably also be used as a place for people to get critiques on stories (or even orders?) before they actually posted them, if that is desirable.

Good idea? Bad idea? Thoughts?
