I think the geopolitical situation for me in Iggy's NES is Croyodon trying to keep a close relationship with their powerful and close ally Gorin without losing their own identity.

In jalapeno_dude's NES I would say Prussia emerged as a warlike power raiding or conquering her neighbors until Eire and Brittanica rose. A new policy was adopted to keep the Empire alive instead of creating constant enemies around it. Prussia turned from its raiding days to expansion and trade until Sweden interrupted it which will lead to Prussia's second major war in her history.
I'm interested in what will develop between you and Briton/Eirehann. You had good relations at first, but there's been tension over settlement of France, and I wonder if that will continue. But that's obviously far off, since all 3 of you are distracted elsewhere.

I think relations will be good as long as they do not attempt to settle the Rhine.

Tensions have fallen and almost dissapeared because a status quo is so far kept.

I want to keep Novgrod as a future ally along with Brittanica and there is a reason I let Noricum live so I would have an ally to counter the Brittanica-Eirehann alliance.

About the whole Briton/Eirehann thing.

I've been doing my best to take advantage of opputinities as they come along. Lb presented me with a chance to take out Wessex (I still claim that I forgot about the NAP :mischief: ) and so, for some odd reason, I choose the lesser of the two evils and decided to keep him along for the ride. Thus the great un-holy alliance was born. I believe, eventually, we will end up in war (I won't strike first), but when that happens is anyones guess- allies can't remain forever.

I have, through this all, been acting upon the master plan- what that is you may never know ;]. Anywhos, remember that it was Prussia who raided me first and I do not forget things easily- if we do not have a NAP signed, and the opputunity shows itself, I will take advantage. I would expect you to do the same thing Farow. I have no plans for the Rhine area yet either. Oh yeah- no status quo- our alliance out ranks yours ;].

As for Iberia? Well, that was two things- an old condition of the alliance between me and LB and my own personal motives from the master plan. I have no plans for war with Rome, no matter how (or what) it seems. I'm still shocked at how noone has appeantly registered the avatar. The one rule I follow that is if you betray me, I have no qualms about betraying you. And I blame Erez for the war with Maar- it was his decision to raid me, it was his responsibility to pay for it.

Actually most people are assuming your avatar is a way to try and trick people into believing you're peace minded ;)

It is quite likely we will go to war, but as both of us are hesitant betrayers, it might be a while. So far its been beneficial for both of us, and allowed us to look outwards instead of worrying about each other and keeping us from expanding for fear of the other attacking. We shall see I suppose.

^ I agree. I'm just musing about what the cause will be. Most likely alliances with other nations, but anyone's guess would be good enough.

Prussia will only attack your alliance if you guys start making aggressive moves towards me but I see no reason for you to go to war with me for some time as all of Gaul, Parts of Iberia, and Scandinavia are still largely unsettled.

I hope peace lasts. When I raided you I actually thought I was doing it on Copenhagen as JD refered to a big island and that is big. I had no idea he was talking about Brittanica. That is why I immeditatly stopped raiding you :).

I was raided TWICE. (and the other confirmed Maar twice.)

Likewise, if we have a NAP you have nothing to worry from me.

I'm so evil. :p

I can honestly say that I've never ment to break a nAP (That one time in jalnes was a mistake)

How many NAPs have you signed? ;)

I was surprised nothing was made of the large Egalist population in Goushuu / Terra Australis

It wasn't all that large, really - the colonists outnumbered the convicts by far.

On that note, das, whatever did happen to Dunkleheit and his various scientists and such?

Ask stalin006, but generally they all hid all over the world; not sure what exactly happened with them after the second IT's third update or so...

... Who were the bloody pirates anyway?

Several people unaware of each other's involvement in this. ;)

I really did enjoy the way all of you kept tricking and confusing each other (and naturally I helped confuse things to the best of my capability, both in the update itself and in the secret reports); practically noone, probably not even myself, had a clear picture of just what the hell was going on (as far as the secret organizations and clandestine warfare were concerned, ofcourse).

EDIT: On LINES II, IMHO the situation there is very hard to predict, especially on the three peripheries (although there definitely would be some conflict there; I doubt that anyone will emerge as the dominant power in the peripheries yet, apart from Guangfei perhaps). In the Cradle itself, I suspect that there will be peace, at least between Khemri and Gorin; the former will probably continue engaging itself in all sorts of overseas wars (Napoleon III style), while Gorin, true to its supposedly-Russian last names, will build an overland empire (for indeed its position is similar to that of 16th century Russia, only stronger) - but this might be prevented by the Lengels. Khemri remains the single most promising power, especially if it takes advantage of its splendid strategic position for naval domination. Unless Kal'thzar screws things up badly, the sun won't set on the Ku Klux Klan ( :p ) empire for quite a while. I don't thing it will conquer the Eastern Fringe, though, it is too distant; that southern gulf, however, just begs for Khemri conquest, and so do any yet-undiscovered lands to the southeast.

Don't wait here, send your orders for my NES, Luckymoose! (Given the type of thread this is, there's really nothing to threadjack.) :D

How do people rate the odds in the Sweeden v.s Prussia war in JalNES? I'm also considering trying to even things out by sheer weight of story bonuses as i have the spare time- i thought i might ask for some opinions before i did, as it could be considered a tad unfair.

Also, i signed up in 1815 NES and discovered that the rulers of Savoy are titular heirs to a vast empire- the King of Savoy's brother holds the Jacobite claims to Great Britan and it's empire, and the King holds the claim to rulership of Jerusulam, through the fact the Kings of Jerusulam held Cyprus and Armenia for a time to them as well.

It's a viable option to try and create an empire based on all the places the King of Savoy and his brother have heirship too!

Why did you attack me? I had no aggressive aims and you still had a ton of land to expand into?

I would've allowed you to survive and if I wanted to kill you it would have been simple when you first started. I actually wanted to keep you as an ally like Noricum.

It could be a tad unfair, but implied by a certain Italian who wrote the Prince "The ends justify the means." If you win, all thing's good but if you lose that's another story ;)

And ah... my opinion of Sweeden's survival is quite low I'm afraid :(

Meh, life's not fair. I agree with alex on both points:

A) Write all the stories you like.
B) The only way I see Sweeden surviving this is if Prussia collapses under its own weight.

That reminds me, don't try anything funny this turn in jal's nes LB ;) I'm watching you *does cool eye thing* Others may be fooled by Eirehann's smooth and diplomatic face, but I know what you're REALLY thinking :mischief:
