I'm wondering who led the Egalitists the entire time.

But yes, I supported them half way as England briefly. But that entire situation exploded.

Not TOTALLY incompetant, didn't fall for that trick you tried to pull

That trick was also quite interesting, because Panda had nothing to do with it. ;)

Kal'thzar just kind of admitted to it.

I've been wondering ever since das told me that stalin wasn't behind the Egalitists... what was he doing?

I can honestly say that I've never ment to break a nAP (That one time in jalnes was a mistake)

About LINES 2 (Swiss):

Actually no. Orthodox Oneism will decline, but if you haven't noticed other forms will still be growing- exponitionally I might add ;]. Norvalin might survive a turn or two, but it'll be taken out quickly so that won't pose an issue.

Oneist nations are not growing weaker, just changing- new ones are popping up while old ones die away- most noteably in the new world. I have been busy, you know ? ;]. Khermi will have a harder time securing colonies in the new world simply becuase of what it is- a mix-mash of cultures, ideals, and religions. Kal will have to fix those problems before he can even think about the eastern continent. You also forget the probability of a new continent to the west that would be much more profitable to colonize. I doubt the two powers would fight a war as they have so many more enemies to take down.

I'd be shock if the Valins do another exodus- mainly at those who allow it. You'd think that after they prove to be annoying and problematic twice, that people would make the connection and prevent it. I know for sure they'll be no Norvalin exodus- I'll hunt it down before allowing it.

Also your view on the new world will eventually make you come to hate it ;]. The new world, no matter what you say, will not become a "playground" for the two superpowers. Powers are already developing in the region and one outranks you currently (not speaking of me), so there will be no bladeists there (95% sure).

Also I doubt Emorians would get a following in nations- they've proven not to be trusted and people in LINES tend to be a tad bit genocidal.

Orthodox Oneism is what i ment. Your growing far too great to decline yet Darkening. And i don't mean to say that the New World won't have its own "powers", just that its wars and history are going to be greatly affected and dictated by the Old World powers. Funds, troops, technologies will flood into it so that it may pursue the wars that Khemri and Gorin wish it too.

Mrm. Well, that was the only one that was directly against me and the one I mostly acted on (with the others as window dressing), so that's still more than enough for me to have done what I did. :p

As near as I could tell, other than Luckymoose's experiments with democracy that eventually exploded, there was no real organized Egalist operation since about mid-IT2, when stalin006 disappeared. The next nearest thing was Cleric's little organization in the Yukon, which kidnapped some of my researchers and stole some of my technology, and then went on to do the Reykjavik "Field Test" in 1785 under the cover of war. I sent in 10 Divisions to blow them all up in 1788. Other than him, most of the secret organizations were dead (if independent) or distracted (if state run).

NAahaha I just stole your researchers I didnt steal your techmology or anything. I made MY OWN TECHMOLOGY! :mwaha:

Regretfully das didnt include in the final update on how my last assassination plan went. Will you reopen NESVI again? After you please these damn Luddites of course.

As to NES2 VI, I would like to announce that I did nothing out of the ordinary. Seriously. All I did was fight Russia... And give Panda massive amounts of strategic advice, but that doesn't really count. ;)

And in case anyone's keeping score, I predicted that Russia would attack the turn it really did attack... But then new info came in which made me change my mind. To my regret.

Jalepeno's NES is just getting interesting, and the war shall be fun to fight. :)

Iggy's... *shrugs* I'm not as fiercely focused on that as everyone else; I'm really a periphery nation. *shrugs*

I'm really out of touch with most of LINESII except what concerns me. That happened in LINES, as well, and it happens to me in most fresh start NESes I play...

Modding is really a completely different experience than playing.

I set up the whole rebellion in Italy that basically got crushed by an all out hre invasion, and then my brazilian rebellionw hich got crushed by EUA. Both rebellions worked to gain power, but were unable to defend themselves against an outside assault that had more than twice the fire power

but in LinesII people are going to start looking west and try to find the end of the original continent I bet,

OK, so, it was Kal'thzar instead of stalin006, and he still pretty much died out about halfway through. Same difference. :p I was surprised nothing was made of the large Egalist population in Goushuu / Terra Australis (who actually became some of my more loyal citizens... heh). Unlike Iggy, I wasn't quite ready to let the more empty parts of my empire become a haven for terrorists.

So... you wasted money replicating at least flamethrowers, when you could've just stolen them? :p Your loss then. I was pretty much dead set on finding and eradicating you just for annoying me, though. I have a feeling I would've learned quite a bit more when I was done with those bases...

Probably nothing since he was gone for awhile. On that note, das, whatever did happen to Dunkleheit and his various scientists and such? Given Stalin got the Evilest award in IT1, I'm guessing it was weaponized smallpox they were working on. Particularly as all data on the project was torched...

Also, since we're coming clean, my sources indicated Chinese involvement in Sumatra, Persia, and Manchuria. The last was what sold me, but I fabricated the evidence on the pirates (though it made good sense, being that the only nation with regular contact to Japanese submarine designs was China) to ensure the Diet was swayed.

... Who were the bloody pirates anyway? It was clear they were trying to drive a wedge between the HRE and Japan and were faked out along with everyone else with the neutrality act, considering they disappeared, but who was running those?

I did fail to send orders for the last 4-5 updates, got bored :p

What's your opinion on the whole geopolitical situation in YOUR nes ;)

For LINESII, I actually have a different opinion then most of you strangely. I actually believe that Gorin and Khemri will remain at peace purely because it is in neither of their interests to go to war for an extended period of time. Gorin will probably annex her "friend" Cryodon in the long term and also get ingo conflict with the Lengels and possibly later the Merhai.

UKKK will probably consolidate her position and maintain it setting up a series of vassals such as in Trinlin and Old Veritas. Much like a Roman Empire minus all those annoying barbarians. I don't see the UKK falling for at least another 10 turns against possible Bladeists/Gorin/etc forces.

For the Bladeists States, Swade and Myocaca I strangely don't see a very peaceful future on their horizon. Depending on how the war with New Veritas goes (and I refuse to fully believe thlayli's doomed, just likely) they will no doubt try to expand their influence in the "New World." or so to speak, that or go conquering the south against Atyrie and Guangfei.

Guangfei, if she survives (being pessimistic is always good) and defeats New Veritas, depending on whether New Veritas survives or not, will become the effective Hegemon of the South. The Trinlin successor states won't pose a match if war does start, though I really don't see a war starting in the future unless they start it first. I also envision a Great Wall of Guangfei from Qingdao to Guangdong provinces walling off the South from the Northern Bladeists ;)

Sintonia will probably turn from the Bladeism of the Swade Ascendancy and Myocaca to form her own brand of Bladeism and probably come into conflict with Guangfei in the far future.

The New World? Don't know enough to say, though I do hope the small Guangfei expedition made it and survived :)

Meh that was the only base and I had meager use of it. You would find nothing else but some amusing yet very lethal toys.

Let's see.

I don't regret my decision to have players mostly in Europe, but it has meant there's been an edge effect, most notably with the Medes. Ur was created largely to prevent them from growing too fast, but we all know how that turned out. :p

I didn't expect what happened with Eirehann and Britannia. It's a natural player rivalry, but by working together instead Darkening and LittleBoots have created a very strong alliance.

I'm surprised there isn't a strong Iberian power. Maar had the potential, but erez didn't make the smartest decisions. :p

And overall, Europe and the Mediterranean are ripe for world war--which is exactly what's happening!

I mean what you think about Rome, Syracuse, and Carthage to be more specific ;)

Oh. Well, that area is ripe for conflict (see real life), so it was sort of inevitable. It would have been fun if Azale had stayed as Syracuse--3 way war!

no mention of me? the only peacfull super power?
That doesn't really have much to do with geopolitics, since you've stayed out of politics. The only thing is to remark that it was possible in large part only due to your isolated position and Byzantium's continue inactivity--plus the chaos around Troy.

Meh. I never really believed that you and IP had cut ties, mostly because of something IP had said in a different NES, but I was screwed unless you had since Russia was too weak to be any use, so I crossed my fingers and went with it.

I think the geopolitical situation for me in Iggy's NES is Croyodon trying to keep a close relationship with their powerful and close ally Gorin without losing their own identity.

In jalapeno_dude's NES I would say Prussia emerged as a warlike power raiding or conquering her neighbors until Eire and Brittanica rose. A new policy was adopted to keep the Empire alive instead of creating constant enemies around it. Prussia turned from its raiding days to expansion and trade until Sweden interrupted it which will lead to Prussia's second major war in her history.
