This is exactly what I will be doing at my next subway visit. Which wasn't going to happen anytime soon, but now at the next opportunity.
Thanks for the inspiration. Doing a somersault because you can, ordering a sub with ALL the sauces cause you never did- those are the things kids need to remind us of.

That is insanely cheap for a whole chicken.

You took it out of context, but even for boneless and skinless chicken breast I thought it was a really good price. They will be tortilla soup this weekend.

Please use Metric it is very confusing.
So it is $4 per kilo for chicken breast vs $9 per kilo for diced chicken breast.

How much for a whole chicken ?

At Costco you can get a whole roasted chicken for $5.00 It is hot and ready to eat.

I never buy whole chickens so I have no idea.

Buck ninety nine is a pretty good deal for breasts. That's what thighs usually cost me. Breasts are twice that.

Of course boneless, skinless breasts are the most boring meat on the planet, but they have their uses.

English Breakfast is like the strongest tea there is! It can't be used as a standard for brew times.

If I leave a PG Tips teabag in for than a single minute, I think it's too bitter, but then I prefer Twinings' English Breakfast. #monocle

Not wanting to put on airs of stuffy monocled English breeding, I drink Lipton tea.

There's a special layer of Hell reserved for people who put ice-cubes in tea.

Incidentally, it's right next to the hell reserved for people who put ice-cubes in my drinks without asking, particularly in winter.

Perhaps so, but since we'll all be there drinking iced tea that layer of hell probably isn't that bad.

Haven't you read Dante's Inferno? You'll be in the iced tea, not drinking it. :p

I drink Yorkshire tea these days. And yeah it isn't usually brewing for more than 30 seconds.

Heh, no, because if it is, the teaspoon stands standing up by itself. :p
