I uninstalled it and reinstalled it, and added update .12.

I only get those three options on there automatically enabled, and I can't disable them, exactly like before.

There was no reason for it to be the game, I never touched any other folder other than "Mods", and every other update you released before worked flawlessly (for what they were).

The question is, what's wrong now?

Got into world builder and made a few edits of the Giant Earth map:

Tarim Basin - added Tarim river and Lop Nur

West Africa - added more hills + Volta river +Lake Volta

Venezuela+Colombia - added river in Colombia and Orinoco river in Venezuela

South Africa - added several rivers, moved Lake Tanganyika 1 tile west and added Lake Nyasa, moved Kongo River delta to correct position.

Southern South America - moved delta of Rio de la Plata south, added several rivers in Argentina, added Straits of Magellan - suggested new Brazil TSL (167, 22) - New Buenos Aires TSL 159, 15

i'm experiencing game crashed with the version 12 of the mod in the middle of the game, is this normal? I'm using the greatest earth map with 20civs. It seems that whatever i do, it will crash once i end the turn.

someone please help me. can anyone put the giant earth map from civ 5 into the playable maps in civ 6? Dont need a 50 civs one, just want blank map to play on in multiplayer. thanks.
 
After countless loading Giant Earth to find the best CS combo to play with, I realized that some of the CS (like Geneva) were never founded and the number of CS seemed low..

It turns out, in TSL.xml of "More CS", many African CS are underwater. Geneva is originally on the correct location, but got overwritten by TSL.xml to a mountain tile. I moved all the underwater ones and removed the duplicated, whether or not in the NewCityStates.sql. Just in case someone would found it useful:

I also personally modified my Map.xml to change some of the CS locations, such as SEOUL from X="89" Y="62" to X="89" Y="61" so that it is in South Korea, and TORONTO from X="153" Y="69" to the correct position X="151" Y="68"

I could not find this topic, sorry if someone already asked

I've played the Ludicrous Map which is great
BUT the colors of the Civilization are almost See through
I cannot see the Units Icon on the Map
 
How do you install it? When I unzip it I am getting 3 folders not 1, and only 1 of them seems to be the one with the mod.
 
Will you ever add a standard size earth map? (Personally, it was my favorite map to play multiplayer with a few friends)
 
btw, the idea of no stone for Stonehenge, no marsh for mont st micheal, etc. was great. It would be epic of you could make cliffs of dover a buildable tile, baing able to build there would help the british civ a lot.

Hi - I'm on a mac...what program can I use to make edits so I can change the TSL?

You can't disable them ?

Try to delete the content of the cache folder: (..\Documents\my games\Sid Meier's Civilization VI\Cache)

There have been a lot of report of crashes during the AI turn since the fall patch without any mods, so I'm waiting for another patch from Firaxis before looking at that again.

I don't understand your question, the giant earth is in the mod, and it can be used in MP.

I also personally modified my Map.xml to change some of the CS locations, such as SEOUL from X="89" Y="62" to X="89" Y="61" so that it is in South Korea, and TORONTO from X="153" Y="69" to the correct position X="151" Y="68"

not enough VRAM, 4GB seems to be the minimum for the "ludicrous" size

You should get 3 folders now that the CS mods are separated, yes.

Just activate the map pack and one of the (optional) CS mod.

Position can be set from another mod (I must edit the "how to" BTW), but if some of you want to work on a compatibility patch included in the main mod, I'll add a file to the project to set the TSL for custom civs, and it could be updated using gitHub.

Loving version 12. Still a shame that civs keep moving their first settler :( no consistency and sometimes cs, such as Amsterdam do not get founded as a result. Will probs go back to Civ5 until fixed.
 
Is it possible to make a smaler Europe, with less of Russia and Africa? Or maby a North-westen Europe? :-)

Many thanks! Just a quick question, is there any way in which you can encourage civs to settle in their real world territories? So, for instance on giant earth map, I find that Germany never settles near the Rhine, or Bavaria, which is where many of its actual great cities are located. If this is something that could be done, then I think it would definitely be a bonus. Also, any chance of having Copenhagen added as a City State? Thanks again.
 
That's something planned with the city maps, but may require access to the DLL, with Lua alone (and even in a script context) I'm not sure that we will be able to control AI units as we could in civ5.

Thank you! This would be my first time ever doing this. Are there any intro to modding pages out there? Where would I look to find true start locations for civs ? I've only been able to find true start locations for city states so far. Thanks again
