Yor Religious (or Non-Religious) View

The diff. is Mormons are not violent murderers of there followers. Since they don't hurt anybody I have no business arguing with them.

Scientologist on the other hand have killed hundreds.

Really? Most interesting.

Do back this claim up with some evidence...I am genuinely fascinated.

Only 10% percent christians... the most secular place in the world... I guess he had a choice.

As for me, I'm a hard-core atheist.

It was a prod on the traditional state churches of scandinivia, really.

Protestant christian.

And I believe atheism is a mental disorder.

Probably makes sense in some way. Considering the fact that religion is pretty much ingrained into humanity's brain, clearly the lack of religious thought shows an inconsistency with the norm. And you can obviously argue as well that it's disruptive to society. To claim otherwise, that is, claim that religious belief is a mental disorder, would be like calling lactose intolerance a disorder when in reality the majority of humans are lactose intolerant.

And heck, it's quite common in teens much like depression, and can often go away after a change in one's mental state.

Born lutherian but not memeber of church anymore (here membership of church is automatical if your parents are members (and therefore it means almost nothing)). I don't believe that God would exist nor that my beliefs would matter even if he did exist, so the question is unimportant to me.

There's more to mental disorders than being a minority (or at least they should be - hopefully we've moved on from the days when we considered homosexuality was a disorder, for example). Otherwise being super-intelligent would be a mental disorder.

As for being disruptive - compared to what religions do?

I would put a poll up, but then I'll get someone asking where Bahá'í is, lol. Anyway, on any given day, I am an Agnostic/Weak Atheist.

If you won't, then I will.

Animist/Deist.

Atheism and lack of religious thought aren't the same thing, by a long shot.

Does this refer to Yor or Dark Yor? In either case the wiki doesn't speak about their religion at all so I can't really say.

I think he meant the scientology part.

Mormons are usually on the receiving end of the murder stick. Not so much now as in the old days.

And I'm a hard core Atheist. Curt is my hero.

I mock you two for ruining the point of my lame attempt to stop mobby's troll. :p

God alone is.

I merely refuse to allow my life to be controlled by a belief in a god.

Such beliefs are what I consider a mental illness.

...

Ehh, it isn't a mental illness, it is simply... idk, for the lack of a better term, instinct to believe in some higher power. That being said, instincts can become outdated, and from what I can see, organized religion is usually contradictory to either other passages in its holy works, or simply doesn't have the answers for modern issues. With that being said, you have to be Scottish. :crazyeye:
