What three (no more, no less) things would this brick-and-mortar establishment sell?

For me it would be books, puppies, and smart clothing. Three lovely things I like I need to try out in person. Video games and electronics I'd rather buy online. I could have picked food products, but I'd rather not get them on my other favorite things.

Food. I do not want my food delivered. I like to look at it, sniff at it, see if it makes me "feel hungry". It is also the ultimate common denominator. Every other shopper at the grocery store, no matter their age, ethnic background, education, income...anything; at the grocery store we are all alike and cannot deny our common ground.

Parts and tools. There are times that just looking around Home Depot allows my mind to hit upon how to fix or improve something. A slat from a vertical blind, cut to length, turns out to be the perfect filler for a cat door installed in a wall a little thicker than it was manufactured for. A replacement grate for a barbecue grill is the perfect door for a custom built dog crate that fits the back seat of my car. Neither of those things would be known other than by wandering through the store and looking at things.

Computer games. I am extremely annoyed that it has become pretty much impossible to walk into a store and walk out with a game whenever I feel like it.

In my ideal life I would never have to goto a store.

Farmer's markets, craft fairs, order an occasional piece of hardware or food online, maybe Costco once a month & an occasional thrift shop.

I really dislike stores & shopping.

That store be pinatas, icecream, and fireworks.

I want to be negative
screw this store, I don't want a store
I hope it goes out of business

A brick-and-mortar establishment should sell bricks and mortar. Masonry tool like trowels can be the third thing.

That store be pinatas, icecream, and fireworks.

Why fireworks? It isn't like you can tell the really good ones by looking at them anyway. Seems like an ideal internet store product. You could even have video to see what you are getting.

just look at that horrifying picture of the store we get to fill. it screams fireworks.

The local antique mall is pretty swell.

I'm rather indifferent, personally. Although I enjoy small, specialized stores, I find that I prefer big establishments that have everything you can think of because it means I can limit my "being in a crowd" experience to one location in one block of time as opposed to moving from crowd to crowd in shorter, more repetitive segments.

But, if a store absolutely needed to sell three things and three things only... I'd pick a cafeteria (bread, deli, pre-made foods), vegetables, and bulk staples (such as rice and lentils). Food's important.

Yup. Food, beer and shoes.

I very rarely buy shoes, but when I do, I want to try them on first.
