Only fired 9 mm pistols and a Colt revolver. No rifles or anything hefty like a shotgun.
Wasn't as entertaining as it was made out to be. 1/5 would not waste money on again.
I have a similar story, except I don't know what the caliber or powder load was - and didn't at the time, either - and my target was paper.First time was actually with a black powder musket replica. Pretty awesome, tore a helluva piece out of my target (1L water bottle). To be expected when firing a .70 musket ball
Bloody heavy though, with quite a recoil for the first time, even with only a 70 grain powder load.
It was fun!
I turned out to be a better shot than I imagined.
What was your first time firing a gun like?
They're no fun. Little noise, no recoil, little power- they lack any of the things that make shooting firearms fun.
Haven't fired a proper gun (to my shame). I have shot a BB gun but well, thats crap compared to an AK.
