This is a thread dedicated for your philosophical moments, no quotes please from other people, only your thoughts. I'll start it.:

Insanity and sanity are a human invention.

and

What is bizarre (weird)? Is bizarre a term used to describe someone that is not like you and do not know or do not follow society's general terms? In that sense everybody is bizarre. So let me ask you: Who or what is truly bizarre? Me? You? Or perhaps it is the notion of jugement we put on ourselves and others we do not know? With that you cannot juge someone you don't know including yourself. Weird is bizarre and bizarre is weird.

i love how a lot of philosophers state the very obvious.

"you are not living, until you are born"

but really, i do like to sit down outside with a notebook and a pack of djarum blacks and just go off on tangents.

hey, how do you think I think of these things? coming home from school I wrote phil stuff in my agenda! I'm reading 1984 right now too so that's a big influence right there!

Sigh.. Must I purchase a notebook now? I know I've had hundreds of these, maybe thousands, but I never remember them.

it really does help.

plus i can't tell you how many times a lady sat down next to me to ask what i was writing. :D

1984 is Not actually an influence on me or my thoughts anyway I'm doing my philosophy exam on it! Doesn't mean that you didn't like that I won't like it.

Why are humans so arrogrant? Can they not accept that they are nothing special and that they are nothing more or less then evolved apes on a ball of rock and iron orbiting a giant fusion reactor?

Why must they come up with rubbish that postulates that they are somehow unique and that nothing could ever surpass them or that there is just something magic or immaterial about their existance?

Gah

People can kiss my arsch, for all I care.

^^^my philosophical postulation for the day.

When one feels the need to correct what he sees as a problem in somebody else, he is only confirming to himself that his philosiphy is rite.
