In this thread I will post some units for the Warhammer Mod each time I finish a new one, so they can all be found in one place. They come a bit late for the WH community, but hopefully some hardcore fans would use them. Many of them have been requested or inspired by Stormrage, so they are all dedicated to his memory.

Most of the animations were made by CamJH and modified by myself, some were completely made by myself, like the Empire Spearman Fidget.
The shield texture for this first unit was sent to me by Stormrage a long time ago.

First one: the basic defense of the Empire (I've really been missing this unit when playing the Mod):

Second one: an Estalian Swordsman

This one was finished long time ago by Vuldacon, because I wasn't able to make a proper palette by this time. Many thanks to him for this unit and for teaching me how to do it. Requested and approved by Stormrage.

EDIT: the pedia pics were missing, they've been added Nov 09, 2011. You'll have to re-download this unit to get them.

Third one: a Bretonnian Swordsman

This last one is not civ-colored (it stays blue whatever the civ).

About the Estalian Swordsman, isn't there a slight change in size right between fortify and attacka?
 
:eek: you're right! That's probably just the gif but I have to check it (damn!).

The flics seem ok, but I've noticed a little problem with the Estalian fortify (the first frame came after the last one), I've just corrected it and I'm posting it right now.

EDIT: in fact I just noticed that the preview for the Estalian does not correspond to the actual version of the unit. On the unit that's available to download, you'll notice that the right leg is black colored and not blue. I'm sorry for the inconvenient. Anyway the unit is better than the preview :)

i think the units are so good and luckily for me enough realistic to be added to any historical mod about western europe. i like the bretonian swordsman which would become a breton sergeant in my world...it is important for the community that you create more units, and maybe some of your future units would also overlapp in such beautifull maner with real history that i might use them as well. :thumbsup:


ps edited post could i ask for the bretonian sergeant to be black and white and carry on the shield the coat of brittany?? it would be a tremendous utility. :hmm:

These are old units to me, I had to finish them (and a few others) before I could move to something else. My next project will deal with historical stuff :) Anyway I will try what you asked and if it doesn't take too much time and efforts, then maybe you'll get it. But I don't promise anything since I'm not sure I can hold it.

I've just noticed and deleted the words "uploaded at imageshack.us". I didn't mean to do some advertising for a site that isn't completely free anymore. I'd rather say "People, go to Tinypics or anywhere else"...

These look really great, mate! The WH mod is one of my all time favourites and next time I play it I'll definitely be adding your creations first.

It's fantastic to see so many units being produced so long after the game first came out. Don't forget to enter something in the monthly comp.
