2018 U.S election

Cruz has pulled ahead 50-49

He's up 100,000 votes. In Houston O'Rorke is up 100,000 votes with 16% in. He's likely to gain another 500,000 votes of margin there, and the question of how many little red counties are left to offset that is...open. The end result is gonna be really close.

I agree with you and I still have some hope. Florida is still 50-50 with 98% in

PBS called Texas

They called Texas for Cruz
What?

I'm getting supposedly live coverage on youtube and there's only 80% of the vote in, Cruz leading by only 300k.

In fact, with lots more votes coming in from the urban cities, it's looking very likely for Beto.

Right now the Senate count is 50-38 for the republicans
House is 101-113 for the republicans

I'm getting the feeling I'll be breaking out the hard liquor before the night is over....

I've already drank, in this order, liquor, more liquor, wine, and more liquor.

I'm pretty pissed about the GA governor race (Kemp should be in a gulag), the FL Senate and governor race, and the TX senate race.

House is 101-113 for the republicans

CNN has the House at D122-123R and the Senate at D38-48R.

PBS is on their own. With 16% in from Houston Cruz needs a half million lead to be safe, and I don't see that on the remaining map.

Just dropped my ballot off here in Cali.

Once again, swallow my pride and vote against republicans...
Wonder how much longer I can handle doing so. Emotionally, I mean.

Yeah I'm hoping its premature. The host even said this was just a projection based on the opinion of their experts.

NBC just called the House for the Dems.

MSNBC has called the House for Democrats.

Even MSNBC has called for Cruz. Bummer.

I don't think the Dems will take the house. :(

Not sure why. According to the numbers I'm seeing the Democrats have already picked up several seats and are ahead in 23 currently Republican districts.

:p you snooze you lose!

Have they called any of those races other than Texas?

CNN has called GOP pickups in the senate in North Dakota and Indiana.

They've called 12 pickups so far in the house for Democrats and none for Republicans.

If that's to me Bird, I saw the "messages have been added" just as I was hitting "post reply"

none for Republicans

I think there's been one pick-up for Republicans.

Sorry I was talking specifically about the Florida and Georgia Senate and Gubernatorial races.
