Oh god I can't stand it when she even shows up in the news. The thought of her running again terrifies me. A new campaign would be DOA but it'd be a useful whipping post for Republicans so there's that.

Some good news from New Jersey, the Democrat won in the House district where my dad spent a lot of time canvassing. It looks like the PA State Senate candidate, Lindsey Williams, that we've been canvassing for will win by a few hundred votes- she was up by 617 with 92% of the votes counted.

That particular zombie just won't give up.

I am curious what your thoughts on the election are. You predicted Republicans would win big-time due to the Kavanaugh hearings. That doesn't seem to be happening. The Democrats aren't doing as well as, uh, sane people had hoped, but the Republicans can't claim to be having a good night.

I don't know about Inno, but this night is leaning a touch more to Republicans than I expected. The one truly unexpected thing is Mississippi 2, their Senate special election. I seems to be going down to the wire.

If sane people hoping actually expected to flip the senate, they weren't that sane. The House is exactly the blowout the sanest Democrat could have hoped for. The GOP has been taught that Trumpier is more likely to lose. The Democrats have been taught that "woooo hooooo, diversity!" invites outright Nazism and the Nazism wins, but by sticking to basics of good governing to avoid rousing the beast they can win in areas they've never carried before. Overall, I'd call it a pretty good night for the Democrats, pending a summary of local race results.

thats a product of which senate seats were up for election, the Rs were favored this year and they'll be at a disadvantage in 2020

Anyways, Florida looks to be decided within the margin of people Rick Scott disenfranchised.

Not petty theft, per se, but the most infamous case is one in which a two-time loser ripped a slice if pizza from a kid's hands: theft by force or threat of force = robbery = felony.
