If Sanders loses today, its pretty much over. Biden's whole appeal is perception of inevitability. Sanders has to undermine that by coming out on top tonight.

So in this world (I think Warren as VP is terrible policy wise its a stupid ceremonial position, more useful for foreign policy then anything) do you see any movement on actually fixing healthcare? What about climate change? Education? Student Loans? Do you see anything getting done on infrastructure? How about reigning in Citizen's United somehow? So why vote for this ticket again? Remind me. I'm really at a loss, I mean if the US is just going to **** all over the planet and its own [people well I think Trump being the face of that seems more palatable.

I see them trying something on health care, don't expect miracles though. Even if Sanders wins he's in the same boat.
They might do something on infrastructure.
Climate change not a lot, student loans was unrealistic to begin with.
No matter who the nominee was you were only going to get 1-2 things off the Democrat wish list.
Healthcares the biggest issue for liberals, centrists, and a lot of the right so it's the most popular thing they can work on.
By that they'll tweak the ACA, you won't get universal healthcare (which I doubt Sanders can deliver anyway).
Exit polling in Texas is a dead heat.
That's all a function of congress. I don't see any reason to think that Biden stands in the way of a Democrat controlled congress if we can get one. If we don't health care is dead in the water no matter who is the president. Same with climate change.
Biden has a John Kerry-esque loss written all over it... but the race was Sanders' to lose... he had the lead and went into the South Carolina primary as the presumptive nominee. This is true I agree with the politics of it, but Biden beating Trump is no sure thing. The man can't even get Chris Wallace's name right.

Trump has the advantage. Inasmuch as Biden could end up being the next Kerry, Bernie could be the next Dukakis.
*sigh* Things aren't looking great for the good guys![]()
Wth, he has been corporate dem his whole life. He will veto a health insurance package if it makes him look like he is compromising. He is the worst sort of dem.
LOL...you are seriously suggesting that a Democrat president would veto a bill presented by a Democrat controlled congress? C'mon man, the Sanders wing isn't that divorced from the realities of politics, is it?
Sanders is losing in Minnesota... boy, if he can't win Minnesota, that's not good.
I agree with this man. It sucks. Whats worse if Biden somehow does win, I think its almost worse. Nothing moves for four years then the republicans get it again. Or four more years of can;t speak a sentence without messing it up and then republicans, meanwhile Bangladesh is entirely under water.
The problem with Colorado is that Sanders is going to have to split delegates with all the candidates. Even Warren seems like she will get delegates out of Colorado. He got a big win in Colorado. The next big question on the table is Texas. Sanders was supposed to win substantially, but the exit polling is a dead heat and Biden has been consistently outperforming the exit polls. Sanders is up six points early, but if that gap holds its going to be called an underperformance and if it narrows substantially as the exit polls indicate that's really bad for Sanders.
Bangladesh will be under water regardless lol if Bernie wins, gets the Senate and has a compliant Congress.
The problems the US has are gonna take decades to fix and that assumes the can win the presidency for the next 20 years, appointment high court courts and pass laws.
It's taken the GoP 40 years to get here. 20 years is probably optimistic.
At best you'll get anything Obama left undone or couldn't pass. More likely they fail to get the Senate so you have a blue Trump who can't pass laws or appoint judges.
At the worst Trump wins.
Also keep in mind a Democrat primary is the friendliest audience Sanders can get outside of Vermont.
How in the ___ is Biden leading in Massachusetts? I mean, it isn't over there since it's only like 30% in, but c'mon.

Again... this will not happen. If Bernie has the majority of the delegates going into the convention and does not receive the nomination I will eat my hat.even if Bernie wins the majority of the delegates the steal will happen in Milwaukee now
