Nah, I think either Klobuchar has already nabbed that spot by endorsing Biden and delivering MN to him on Super Tuesday, or Biden is telegraphing to Warren that she can get on the short list with her as-yet-undelivered endorsement.

Warren would be the smart pick IMO though as others have said, she would be more useful with a real job. Then again, it was Biden that pushed Obama on some of his more progressive initiatives like ending don't ask don't tell, etc, etc. The VP is mostly a contingency job but that doesn't mean it has to be a useless job.

I don't want realistic, I want more Condi pics. Specifically for the emperor over there.

Though, Klobuchar might do it for him. We got anything all political and risque?

The only other admittedly far-fetched possibility is he's courting Gabbard... although she's only polling at 3% tops and she is probably too loyal to Sanders to trade an endorsement for a Veep spot on Biden's ticket.

Who dat?

This was the dankest meme I could find

Kyr. I think he has a thing for Condi if I remember the conversations with VRWC. Rwarrrrr. She is a handsome woman, both of intellect and physique.

Okay, I keep reading that Bernie has better percentages than Biden head-to-head against Trump. I don't doubt the polls. But ordinarily, the challenge is how to drift farther left (for Dems, or right for Reps) to win the primary, then back to the center for the general. The Bernie-beats-Trump-more-than-Biden flips that around, obviously. Bernie should win the primary and then lose all the moderates to a theoretically non-extremist Republican. Can anyone explain why a Democratic centrist would beat a left-winger, but the left-winger would beat the Republican?

Biden mostly is looking to minimize reasons not to vote for him. He's checking boxes. Get a woman, be the Democrat, maybe a Midwesterner as the VP too. Don't screw up too bad, be the conservative from the Obama era when things were "as they should be." This makes sense as a contrast to the majority of Democrats, who see nothing but reasons not to vote for his opponent.

But then again, Trump basically campaigned four years ago on being unfit for office, a la South Park. And Trump won. So maybe giving people reasons they're incompetent and infammatory and nuts is the winning ticket from last time. Or maybe you just need the vibe to play ball in the traumatic-brain-injury contest that is Assclown.

Just spinning theory, don't take it to heart.

Isn't she 200 years old? :nono:

And Biden will likely pick Klob, for reasons already mentioned. Klob also at some point - after resigning from the race - said she was happy to now join the ticket (supposedly a freudian slip). Anyway, Biden had one job (you had one job, Biden :shake: ) to try to win the elections: pick Bernie as vp. Now it's over.

Nah, she's much vimmier than those dried up old robes. Will really spruce up yer vibe!

Because the modern day successors to Boss Tweed and Boss Crump want Biden, no matter what. I thought that was apparent...

It is. But we're talking poll numbers, not election results.

Restating for the 1004th time that you think Biden can't win. In case anyone forgot. Great. Anything else?

Everyone thought Dewey was a shoe-in for 1948 - and, Hell, Clinton was in 2016. A lot of people even thought Romney was in 2012. It was a similar funny story for St. Laurent's third run for PM here in Canada in 1957, though you might have to look that one up.
