Is there a new law I’m unaware of that a longer a political thread goes the greater chances Cloud and Patine end up in a grudge match?

Patine being Patine, Cloud has toned things down recently less calling people fascist, she's alright lol.

They need to get a room.

she's alright lol.

Cloud Strife is female? I never guess that

edit: Just realize she is write it down under her profile picture, again I'm bad at detail.

You are just a deconstructionist, angry punk lashing out at a "machine," you barely understand and alienating most of those who could be your allies. I empathize with THAT aspect - as I've been there in my young adult days. But I've grown, learned, matured, and adapted since then. Hopefully, you will too...

SO patronizing and condescending in a whole forum of patronizing and condescending people lol. I'm not sure whether to be impressed or mortified. I honestly just scroll over most of your pedantic repetitive lecturing on other's un civil positions, or lexicographical misadventures (in your mind). This post here caught my eye though, I think you deserve an award for it or something lol.

I only said that about her responding because your initial blathering was so misleading. IF Trump had, as you said, made some sort of move THEN there would be a countermove. Since he didn't actually DO anything there is no countermove to be expected. I should have checked before responding to your typically bald faced lies touting the greatness of Trump.

It’s not my blathering, it’s a massive public discussion topic, and I wasn’t even the original source on CFCOT. The Government has made a move to care for uninsured Covid-19 patients. Providers will be forbidden from balance billing the uninsured for the cost of their care and providers will be reimbursed at Medicare rates.

D'ump was gonna lie and spin no matter what the scenario, and Trumpists were gonna buy the spin. Not quite sure why you are, but I'm guessing Sanders has something to do with it.

What? Sanders doesn't have anything to do with this, I'm talking about Pelosi choosing the weakest damn strategy and evidence possible to impeach Trump when he had already committed like half a dozen impeachable offenses that don't tie in to Biden.

You know the part that really gets me about a lot of posters on these forums. Not their wretched ideas, stupid points-of-view, stubbornness about counter-productive and stereotyped ideas, or even the fact that a lot of them constantly attack for grating posts. The thing is - and you are as guilty of it as most others I'm referring - is criticizing me and calling me out for flaws and attitudes they are JUST AS guilty of, and when I point out their hypocrisy, it's never responded to, or "it's not the point," or "it's hilarious I would make such a statement," or other ridiculous deflection. Frankly, this is a neighbourhood of glass houses, and we all have a pile of stones in our yards. Let's ALL just stop pretending otherwise, shall we?

What did you call me last year?

Nihilist something or other.

If it's last year, you'd better dig up the post to quote. And I'd also want to see the context around the discussion.

lol yes that's my point, the fact that you manage to take that to a whole other level in a forum that lives and breaths condescension at times should tell you something. I realize I am guilty too even when I try not to be I'm guilty, Its a character flaw my family relentless points out to me over the past 30 years.

I've learned plenty here and it is why I continue to come back, some even from you but jeez man you lay it on thick.

Please don't play the demographic card in this matter. Demographic, as I recently told @Sommerswerd upthread on a different, but related, issue, makes succumbing to basic human flaws and failings no more or less likely in my experience. And demographic shouldn't be a "get away with odious and atrocious behaviour free card."
Yes I noticed, but your statement didn't warrant a response as all you did was essentially tried to over-complicate what amounted to essentially whining "You're playing the Race Card!"... ...by misusing a bunch of superfluous, needlessly fancy-sounding (to you) words. This isn't your sophomore year politics class... no required word/page count here... which is why I didn't respond.

But since you're now tagging me I can see you reeeally want a response... so I will add that crying about someone "playing the race card" isn't an actual argument... and that 's true regardless of whether you come up with some ridiculous euphemism like "the demographics card" or "resorting to the demographic"  Lmfao dude just say "race card"... @Zardnaar hit the nail on the head this isn't your class at university. In any case, as I've explained before on these threads, there is no "race card". The idea that black people are able to extract some sort net advantage in society or debates by pointing out racism or discrimination is a preposterous position. Complaining about "the race card" is just a way for people, generally white people, to sidestep topics that they don't have any response to, by accusing the other person of using some unfair tactic on them.

So TL;DR your complaints about people playing the "race card" (or "demographics card" rotflmao) on you, are flimsy and expose the flaws and overall weakness of your arguments. Your arguments are garbage, you can't defend them, and accusing people of playing the race card on you isn't going to save you from that.

Victor Orban is a neo fascist. Antics in Hungary would be a welcome sight.

./waits for the inevitable Patine snack down on the misuse of fascist and the glorification of Antifa

Lmao, @Zardnaar doesn't need to "dig up the quote"... you just called me the same a couple days ago. "Nihilist" is one of your go-to sophomoric insults that you use to make yourself feel clever. That's what happens when you pick a few big/fancy-sounding words to try and shortcut your way to sounding learned. When you talk to the same people repeatedly, it gets exposed because you end up repeating them too much. That's the difference between conversing with people on a regular basis, versus writing papers for you college courses. You can get away with using the same few buzz-words when you're writing your term papers to four different professors who aren't going to be bothered with comparing your papers between each other.

"Oh excellent use of the word "nihilistic" on your SOC 201 paper student 1472" :pat:
"Oh excellent use of the word "nihilistic" on your POL 202 paper student 1472" :pat:
"Oh excellent use of the word "nihilistic" on your HIS 204 paper student 1472" :pat:...

There's also: just teach me how to aim the gun, we'll complicate things with the way the wind is blowing downstream, if I don't understand how the sights work upstream, I'm going to be cockeyed forever.

If you want to extend the faith. Which is a bit droll these days I guess. Then again, I've noticed less people telling each other what they think in order to get their dander up, like some sort of angry choose their adventure fetish novel.

So, then, please pray tell why you SPECIFICALLY put being an "educated Black man," in the same sentence you dismissed being called arrogant, as though the former were a factor in the latter - or it seemed at face value?

The governor of Wisconsin is trying to open up mail-in voting for the primaries and also delay it. And the GOP is fighting it tooth and nail because of course they would. It doesn't help that the governor himself resisted earlier calls to change the primary date or move it to mail-in.
The Republican National Committee and Wisconsin Republicans have asked the Supreme Court to freeze a lower court opinion that extends the state's absentee ballot deadline, giving voters an extra six days to submit their ballots from election day to April 13. They say such a measure will threaten the integrity of the contest. Wisconsin has refused to postpone or alter its primary election, which is scheduled for Tuesday, April 7. After resisting any election day change for weeks, the state's Gov. Tony Evers called a special legislative session this weekend in an attempt to change the contest to a vote-by-mail one and delay it until May, but as of now, the vote is still set for tomorrow.

I know we like to mock bootstraps, but the pulling of them generates good perspective. You can wind up with a person that crosses over two or more buckets that the disinterested will dump them in. It's valuable to take note when people take the time to point it out, it's a bit of vulnerability, mixing it with some pride is generally going to be necessary.

Last week, the governor of Virginia extended the statewide stay-at-home order until the day after the Republicans' state senate primaries.

Because for a lot of people, my self included, no matter how much, how hard or how diligently you work, your circumstances don't seem to improve, infact they seem to worsen.
