2nd Run NFL Mock Draft Thread

For their 2nd round pick the Bears select Davin Joseph, G, Oklahoma. After looking at their roster I couldn't see anything else to address. Watch out for da Bears!

The next three picks have been posted in the second post and Post 8 has been updated through pick 60. Denver is up next.

Broncos take Joe Klopfenstein - TE - Colorado. Putzier wasn't that good last year, and I think he's gone anyway, so they need a TE even more.

Alright, the steelers are on the clock, I'm a bit lazy today with a ton of junk I have had to get done so I will probably update post 8 tomorrow or something.

Eslinger? In the second!?! Wow, didn't see that one coming. Anyways, with the Next two picks, the Houston Texans select:

ILB D'Qwell Jackson - University of Maryland

CB DeMario Minter - University of Georgia

2nd best center, and he went there in our last draft too, didn't he?

Although I didn't look closely enough at who was left. D'Qwell Jackson would go well at the steelers, and I doubt he'll fall to the 3rd round in the real thing.

You're right, My Panthers took him with their second round pick. My surprise comes from the fact that he needs to put on about 15 pounds to be a viable center on most teams (he could probably cut it in systems requiring lighter more agile lineman like Denver's). Meaning he might drop to either the 3rd or even the second day at the end of April.

On D'Qwell, I was surprised he made it there too. It's even more surprising given all the reaches down on linebackers (outside) in this draft. I believe 10 have already been taken, some of which are only 3rd rounders at best.

Not McIntosh...NFLCountdown has him in the second I think.

Oakland Raiders Select:

Orien Harris - DT - Miami

I didn't see him selected yet so the Niners take Kai Parham, ILB from the University of Virginia.

Passed on Abdul Hodge for Kai Parham, boy are you going to regret that when you notice it!

Fair point on Eslinger. The Steelers have the time to groom him though, and he'll be very good if he adds the weight.

Anyway, the Jets take: Derek Hagan, WR. BPA, I expected him to go earlier, and we're past the point that I know much detail about the players available.

Derek Hagan? BPA??? You weren't kidding when you said that we're past the point that you know much about the players available.

Derek Hagan is the best reciever available...
