There really is no issue here. I wonder if we made the modpacks differently.
 
Got some spy system issue with Vox Populi (7-1-3). No other mod.

Instead of telling us that your MP works and insisting there is no issue, it would be helpful if you would detail what you did to create your MP that is different from the this. I create my MPs using that process, and this is the first time I've experienced an issue like this.

Alternatively, you could post your MP so those of us with issues could test against our own MPs. That would be helpful.

Big thanks to anyone who worked on this mod its the best game ever.
With that said, ive been playing on the same version of vp for a while and i think im due for an update.
Ive read a lot of bugs being mentionned about the patches added recently, but Ive also seen some hotfixes. Is there a version more stable to play right now? what is the latest patch that would provide the best gameplay in your opinion?
Also, whats is the best map to play in? I used to like communitas but does it update automatically when dowloading VP?

The latest version and hotfix (7-1-3) is stable, though some people have been reporting issues when using modpacks.
Communitas is included, there is also another version now included, Communitu_79 which is very good.
 
Communitas is deprecated and no longer supported. It might break in some ways.
Communitu_79a is the officially supported Communitas version for VP. Current version is 2.3.0.

Are you sure those actions aren't all in cooldown? I think you can't hit the same city with the same action (including from other spies) for a while.

I'll try uploading my modpack when I get home.

Do not use guide from wiki, its outdated and Broken - at some point.

InGame.lua is outdated there, also... this file MUST be generated by MPMPWM if your aim it to create modpack with additional buttons from mods other than Vox. [InGame.lua] at guide, is only for 'Vox modpack'.

Most likely new espionage window doesnt working for you and all people, because of that
Just go to \Sid Meier's Civilization V\Assets\DLC\MP_MODSPACK\UI\InGame.lua and add at the bottom

So if you look at modpack guide Ignore "1". Thats all.

  • 2: Navigate to MP_MODSPACK/Mods/(1) Community Patch (v94)/Core Files/CoreLua and delete the InGame.lua file in that destination. These extra steps are necessary, otherwise you will be missing buttons."

I don't know if it is possible to update the wiki ?
Some descriptions are missing in main menu (image) but spy system works now (in SP) ! I havn't tested it in MP yet (it is know that Event system break it, I know I can play without it and with spy enable, but I need to try the stability).

Played a Babylon game with my favourite AI handicap, min city distance 5. Almost everything went smoothly, except
  • Spy action issue: none of the actions could be chosen. Had to move spy back to hideout to get rid of the selection
  • Venice used merchant of Venice to a city state next to me, but it didn't convert. Not sure what happened there
  • Venice is able to settle new cities with merchant of Venice, but I assume that's a Vox Populi rule that I haven't noticed before
Side note: would be nice if "DIPLOAI_DISABLE_TRADE_OFFERS" would still allow AI to offer renewal. Now I'll notice a finished trade deal some 50 turns later. Otherwise nice flag to stop the spamming of useless trade deals.
 
Dogfighting 3 has 33% interception boost, but description states that it has 34%. The total is 99% then.

I've added this as an option for next version. Setting to 1 will allow only peace offers and offers to renew a deal, setting to 2 will only allow peace offers (disabling peace offers is a separate setting).
 
What happened to the Zeppelin? Is it totally deleted from the game? At some point in thread about reworking scouting line we though about making it totally separate line upgrading to Combat Drones. Do you think of expanding this feature?

I am so happy that someone finally did this scouting rework. Good job! I hated movement from melee to air in one line.
 
Are trade offers currently disabled?

No. You can disable AI-to-human trade offers in DiploAIOptions.sql, though.

What I've added for next version is an option to exclude "renew our deal" offers from the general rule.
 
About CS quests - in previous beta quest to conquer CS or ally both worked well - in this beta when you ally both you get part yields out of one CS - from second CS you get nothing
