83% of US doctors considering quitting because of Obamacare

Thanks for the invitation. ;)
Rather than finding it, I'll just say, many more states have banned smoking in bars/restaurants.
Some are even banning it OUTSIDE in public spaces...

States? Can you name one please?

Are you doubting the accuracy/updated status of Wikipedia!?

I'm texting Formy on this immediately.

CA, for one, your map is wrong. It shows CA as having all 3 banned, but, this site:
http://www.no-smoke.org/goingsmokefree.php?id=519#maps
Differs
CA doesn't have 100% smokefree non-hospitality places of work laws...

Anyhow, this other site is way more up to date and accurate. It's what they do.

It's not a big deal, I was just pointing that I could recognize in one glance that previous map was incorrect.

More importantly, this is another example of Wikipedia being factually incorrect.

Specifically, that article. All encyclopaedias have errors - it's just a matter of frequency and severity.

Indeed. There's a vast chasm between something being slightly out-dated versus stating a contrapositive. Kochman's objections to wikipedia appear to mistake all errors as being contrapositives, which just isn't true.

No, it's the frequency of the errors...

Guys, I can go on there and edit in words right now to throw something off, just to do it. I could just post my opinion as fact... I would probably get found, if it wasn't true, but not necessarily right away...

Wikipedia is too in flux and too erroneous.

Nope, I just get bored with empty criticisms. Good link! The Wikipedia map should probably clearly indicate that it just covers general rules and doesn't mean "100% smokefree". I'd be very surprised if differences reflected more than a list of exceptions.

Fair enough...
That map changes pretty constantly, as more and more areas crack down. I wasn't trying to be a jerk, just pointed out that it has become more restrictive...

Authoritarians and all...

Would anyone care to cue me in on what Smoking-bans has to do with Doctors or "Obama-care" (which in itself, is right-wing propaganda used against the health care bill).

Public smoking bans are public health measures. The topic was sin taxes. It's not a terribly long thread.

President Obama is embracing the term “ObamaCare” on the campaign stump, attempting to turn the tables on critics who use it in a derogatory way.

“They call it ObamaCare?” the president told supporters at a St. Louis fundraiser Tuesday evening. “I do care! You should care, too.”

Earlier in the day, Obama told an audience in Dallas, “Folks go around saying ObamaCare. That’s right — I care. … That’s their main agenda? That’s your plank? Is making sure 30 million people don’t have health insurance?”

The president’s remarks are clearly part of a White House strategy to reclaim some lost ground on healthcare, taking the fight to Republicans.

“I have no problem with people saying Obama cares. I do care,” the president said in Minnesota, the first stop of his rural bus tour this summer. “If the other side wants to be the folks that don’t care, that’s fine with me. I do care.”
