A Brave New World Part 2

To: Iroquois
From: Lakota Sioux and Nez Perce

We agree completely to a defensive alliance and trading pact. Let us fight together against the imperialist Europeans!

From: Denmark
To: All nations involved in the Sauk-Fox War

While there is a high probability that our words won't be heeded or even listened to, we would like to ask the Empire of France to actually investigate the matter, as there is proof about the brutal attacks on the Isanti by the Sauk. While we too would also like if it wasn't true, we fear that the proof is unquestionable.

The attacks on a whole tribe just for the actions of a few is also a grave mistake: punishing the group for the actions of the individual is not something that should be done in any circumstances. Perhaps if the Sauk tried to imitate France's model of how a Monarchy should interact with its subjects, the possibility of more incidents like this happening would be much lower.

Please, to those involved in the war, try to reach a peaceful conclusion before you drown in the blood of the dead and injured!

Signed,
King Christian IX

To Germany and the Berlin Alliance
From Brazil

In order to plan measures to bring the country back to stability we need to know what help, if any, we can expect in the coming year.

From Republic of Italy
To Brazil

As offered before we are will to send a ship and some troops to help secure an area if requested by Brazil.

To Italy
From Brazil

We appreciate the offer and are glad to accept. Your troops should work in coordination with German and Brazilian troops in the urban centers of Brazil to restore order.

Expect a Destroyer and 10 Infantry to assist you.

From: Chile

Long have our nations traded with each other in peace, in light of the collapse of the Steel Companies, Chile wishes to offer a trade pact. It would lower the taxes and tarrifs between us and increase trade amongst our peoples

We have the raw resources, you have the finished goods; it would bolster both of our nation's economies and help get yours back on track from the collapse of Carnegie's Company.

Nothing would bring us more pleasure than increased trade between us.

To: Deseret, Virginia
From: France

Both of you are guilty of fatal errors of judgment, however: France is as every bit an American nation as a European one. We happen to be the guardians of nations in America, and we have peopled much land in America. We must act as such, and that means retaliating against aggression. As for the Cumberland War, Virginia, ultimately we allowed you the luxury of annexing that state for your own security. For a nation which is forged out of blood and conquest, you are one to talk about rash, "uncivilized" acts.

And France is more qualified to be "civilized?" One has to only look at a map of Western Europe, or indeed the world, to realize your own hypocrisy in that statement. Your galavanting around in Europe, Africa, and India has not been forgotten by the many nationalities you govern, nor has it been forgotten here. The French have just as militant a history as Virginia, only you try to hide behind your congress and imperium and then point fingers.

To: Peru
From: Chile

Would you be willing to accept a trade pact amongst our nations to help rebuild your country and its economy?

OOC: Shouldn't the Iroquois be a tribal confederacy and not a republic?

@Supermath, yes, a hundred years ago. The natives have been modernizing (or westernizing to some) their political thought as well as their military.

From Russia
To Bulgaria, Serbia

We strongly urge you to compromise; nothing good can come of this tension. Both of your countries have lost many valuable men; has there not been enough bloodshed already? Russia is prepared to pay each of you large compensations if you will just agree to preserve the European peace.

From Russia
To Austria

You have not yet given us any response. We strongly advise you to do so soon. Consider this a warning.

From Russia
To Shanxi

Would you like to preserve the fragile peace between us?

From Russia
To the Patriarch of Constantinople

Has your greatness had enough time to consider our query? We would like to strongly advise you to pray about it tonight and do as God instructs you to do.

Virginia is civilized? We should hope not! No civilized nation would attempt military coups in Georgia or intermarry with the House of Orange.

Sure, I'll apologize then.

The commander shall be reprimanded. We apologize profusely for the Serbian commander's actions. Now apologize for killing our troops.

Virginia had no part in the attempted coup in Georgia, and we have offered to cooperate in any investigation.
