Really tiny change that I think will better AND: Reduce the number of turns taken when Workers build a Road on tiles that are already connected by Path, so that it's faster than building the Road from scratch. I think this represents an upgrading mechanism and would make more sense that how it currently works (same number of turns taken when building/upgrading Roads on Path-ed tiles and building Road from scratch). Similarly I think this can also be used for Road -> Paved Road.

Good Point. I'll add this.

When I try to install the mod I get the message: "An error has occurred during installation."
I've tried both With RoM 1.91/AND 1.73 and RoM 1.92/AND 1.74 beta, and I get the same message on both. I'm running Rise of Mankind without any trouble. This is CIV 4 from Steam if that matters.

Is there a reason that for Military Civics buildings that M.A.D. has two (Missile Lab and Control Tower) and Unmanned Warfare has none? I thought that Unmanned Warefare was supposed to have the Control Tower, or am I using an older version? Also, the Bandit Hideout should have some sort of Revolutions penalty.

I also have to ask about the <ExtendsBuildingClass> tag since it is not included in the modder's guide thread. What does it do exactly? I do not want to mess up with it like I did with the new Revolutions tags.

Can you post a screenshot of the error, and tell me exactly where you are installing it to? (The path that you entered in the installer, please.)

Good catch, copy and paste error.

Also, the Bandit Hideout should have some sort of Revolutions penalty.

Planning on removing it, actually.

Good question, and I'm glad you asked. I nearly forgot about that one. Anyway, basically, it means this building is an extension of the building class in the <ExtendsBuildingClass> tag. So if the building class in the <ExtendsBuildingClass> is destroyed for some reason, so are all of the extensions.

I meant to use it for all the castle improvements, so that if the castle was destroyed, so were the improvements.

OK. Does that mean that Banditry is going to have a new building or no building?

That is cool. That means that once the Castle is obsolete, so are its extension, right? Looking at the Pedia, I thought it was weird that the Ballista Tower never obsoleted.

No building for banditry, (so feel free to make one, if you so desire).

And yes, that's why the castle improvements have no obsolete techs. They all vanish with the castle.

Since your Military Civics have created two Vassalage civics, why not just rename "Banditry" to "Tribal" and use the War Hut I made for Modular Civics Buildings. I can figure out another building to use for Tribal Society (Between Hydromancerx and an encyclopedia about the Celts I own, it will be easy enough). I think that tribal warfare is much more historical than banditry for early militaries of the scale they are in Rise of Mankind.

Anyways, that is just my thoughts on it.

EDIT: I will be removing the War Hut from Tribal anyways and replacing it.

Kill me if this was posted before, but flexible difficulty seems to be allways on, and there is no way to turn it of.

Kill ya :D. Don't worry, in 1.73J, it is not so clear so you are excused. You are supposed to go to CTRL+ALT+O and go to RoMSettings tab then uncheck Flexible Diff there.

Thx 4 the info.
Playing hide and seek with gameoptions is fun....wait its not.... -.-

Whenever I try to start a Giant or Gigantic game i get a CTD during the Init Graphics phase of loading, I've reinstalled AND several times tryed J and K patches nothing helps, any ideas?

What are your system specs? Giant and Gigantic Maps require very high end computers. Also, have you tested other mapscripts? Some don't work with the larger settings.

I don't exactly i've to check but with just RoM I've gotten Giant and Gigantic maps to work so I'd guess its not my computer

Are you using the same mapscripts with RoM that you were using with AND? If not, that's one suspect. Can you open Gigantic pre-made scenarios?
