A Place In The Sun

Okay, fine. Since apparently any POD is acceptable:

GM, please rename my country to the Bolivarian Republic of New Gluahiri

We are a race of aliens who invaded Latin America from the planet of Gluahiri in 1700. I also expect you to give us weaponry and numerical numbers far in excess of anything the puny humans have, since we are an extremely advanced civilization and breed like rabbits.

Let's calm down a little bit guys...

At least you actually put effort this time. If only your effort had amounted to anything meaningful your three-year hiatus from IOT wouldn't be remembered as a respite.

Edit: Ohai Bsmith. Calming down.

Oh no! He was busy in real life! How dare he! Burn the witch!

I just lost a bet. I had put five quid down on you saying something like, "Friggin' time, how does it work?" or "I don't adhere to your statist capitalist system of being a decent person to people."

Sorry, I saw Tumblr and realized I'm a grown man who doesn't read gifs made by "chaoskid2010".

Haha! Why, he dared to pull the first result off of google without paying attention to the watermark! We caught him red-handed! BURN THE HERETIC!

Moderator Action: Enough guys. Time to quit it.

So, um, I do not think this particular China even needs to be industrialized to produce more than anyone else. In fact, an industrialised China in the 19th Century would probably beat the closest competitor by an order of magnitude. Assuming that India remained preindustrial and making up numbers in a vaguely plausible way.

it is a known fact that in TK games "IC" is pretty much all economic potential of the country, not necessarily industry. So let's stop.

Not really, because population is mostly irrelevant in most IOTs, except occasionally with regards to manpower, but not really with regards to the economy.
