Altered Maps ΙΓ: To make a map larger than what it maps.

For TK's pleasure (maybe in more ways than one), I incest on having another incest map:

I wonder what constitutes "public scandal" in regards to Italy.

I like how Eurasia does not include most of Asia.

I simply don't know. It's a very long time since I read 1984 and I probably didn't pay much attention to it then. Apart from the rat in a cage on the protagonists face. Oh, and gin.

Perhaps I should read it again. I doubt the line is significant, but it could be. Something to do with South Africa, perhaps. Yet the story is very dated, of course.

Bit odd, I suppose. I think there might be more incest maps lying around that show the world as a whole, but I'm too lazy to search for them now. Maybe I'll dig them out eventually for TK's sake.

What does TK have to do with incest, if I may ask.

Please tell me a five year old drew this and not an adult... please...

The ones posted below were drawn by adult American graduates, apparently:

You get the same results when you ask Europeans to name American states, and then only choose the funny answers.

I know there were some statistics a while back that showed some rather depressing results concerning Americans geographical knowledge, but I wonder how they compare to other countries to be honest

I don't think I'd do too badly, but then I think there are quite a few more US states than there are countries in Europe.

Edit: Eh, voila!
