I think that if you make a long, thin trench somewhere, like 0.1m*100m*1000km, and fill it up with iron (costs about 5 bn) you can likely chop of a piece of an existing plate if you wait for some years.

No Starbucks, Dunkin, Subway or Ben&Jerry's?

I was talking to Kyriakos.

Interesting. My awareness of those brands radically increased as I moved across the map towards New England. I wonder why that is.

or juan de fuca

Then you'll have to put up with people misspelling your name and utterly failing to cut-and-paste it properly too. :D

I knew a guy who went into a KFC once. That's as close as I've been to fast-food joints.

Oh, and I walked past a Starbucks last year.

*sigh*

Sometimes I feel like life's passing me by.

I have only seen Starbucks, Macdonalds, Burger king and Subway
I do however know that pizza hut and kfc exists

Taco John's .. If someone invited me for lunch at such a place, I'd expect a run down business operated by someone who knows nothing about tacos.
Taco John's is good, dude.

When was the last time anyone even *saw* a Godfather's Pizza? I don't think I've been to one in 15+ years.

Also, does anyone remember Rax?

I think they have more than a dozen Five Guys in the UK now. I saw one in London in 2013 and was stunned because their expansion was so rapid I hadn't even realized they existed outside the mid-atlantic.

Herman Caine's the only reason I've ever even thought about them.

I've never heard of them, but I don't live in a city.

I will remember that, but it's just that.. well, look at the name. I wouldn't go to "Bob's Sushi" or "Randy's Cambodian Cuisine", I'd prefer something that sounds more authentic. Knowing nothing about Taco John's, if I ever saw it by the side of the street, I'd assume it's not really very authentic and I would walk by and go somewhere else. If "Juan's Tacos" was next door, I would definitely go there instead, even if it looked more run down.. Maybe *especially* if it looked a bit run down - from my experience the best taco places don't look like much from the outside.

Having looked up Taco John's though, it seems to be a Taco Bell competitor or something similar. And Taco Bell isn't very good and gives me gas, aside from their fries supreme, which I love to this day - but which you can't even get in the U.S. for some stupid reason (as far as I know). These are the thoughts which would be running through my mind if I ever happened to walk by a Taco John's. But with your recommendation in mind, I would give them a try. I just think their branding is crap, for someone like me, who has never heard of them until now. "Taco John's" doesn't sound very appetizing at first glance.
