Economy
the Byzantine Economy is dependent on mainly income taxes. the Byzantine government is careful about spending money and as a result the Public and National debt is only 40% of the GDP, and the taxes are universally at 5%. the Byzantine Republic makes 8 trillion dollars a year, and most of its spending is to the Government, infrastructure, etc.

the Major Economic centers of the Republic are: Constantinople, Ankara, Belgrade. they contribute 65% of the GDP all together.

Conclusion: For the most part, being poor = evil or partly evil, whereas rich people are the best the world has to offer. I knew the Medieval Europeans were on to something when they bestowed the title of "noble" to the wealthy!

Partition This!, or Ethnicity Map For Afghanistan and Pakistan

I once made a "Balkanized Asia" map a while ago. It was a rather half-assed effort; I gave up trying to partition the ethno-linguistic mess that are the Caucasus, India, Indonesia and, above all, these two countries.

The original maps can be found here for Afghanistan, and here for Pakistan. I think they are simply too massive to post here, so here are the scaled down versions:
