I think that the fact that Lapland belongs to Sweden although they speak lappish, or Skania belongs to Sweden although they speak danish, is as stupid

I'm pretty sure Lapland is divided among Norway, Sweden, Finland, and Russia. And don't Skanians speak Swedish? I know that they were a Danish possesion a long while back, but they still spoke Swedish (I thought)

Well, for what it's worth, apparently, they (if not the rest of Sweden) make fun of us too. Apparently we're too elitist and pampered for their hillbilly-minds. mischief

When it comes to Lapland - of course it is. I was refering to the part that belongs to Sweden.

When it comes to Skania, it's a tease. Scanian dialects may be classified as swedish today, but were originally danish and still bear some resemblance to danish I believe.
