Now that's going a little too far.

I just wanted to test my editor-friendly blank map. Here you got it:

In a couple of clicks you can edit the whole map.

In another lesson in American exceptionalism, I couldn't help chuckling a little when seeing this map on wikipedia:

Green nations have ratified the Kyoto Protocols, gray have not, and red doesn't plan on ratifying it.

USA #1

Of course, how many of those ratified it and now completely ignore it?

I can't fault Southeast Asia. You even seem to have picked up on the Champa holding everything south of the Hai Van Pass.

=P I chanced upon a very good map.

Since you are our local SEA History expert, I'll beam with some pride. =D

Im quite sure Im missing a couple of Principalities in Russia. And Central East India is a little weird for me too.

North America?

I know great and grand North American Pre-Columbian Cultures existed in the North.
However, I decided to include only cultures that took on a more structural society in terms of laws, governance and political hold.

EDIT: Seems like I missed out one North American culture that fitted this bill and existed in the Timeline, the Mississippian Culture.

EDIT: I'm missing Zapotec and Tarascan states.

You forgot to name Granada.

BTW, the Crown of Aragon and the Crown of Castille had itinerant capitals at that time.

Granada absence is noted.
Did they have de jure capitals then? I'm quite sure the de jure capital of Aragon is Saragossa

You forgot some Khanate states east of Moscowy such as Kazan and Sibir.

Nope, I didn't.

(1438-1552)

(1490-1598)

The year is 1421 on my map, the year the Ming Dynasty moved its capital from Nanjing to Beijing.

Did a bit more research, updated a couple of places, Mesoamerica, East Africa, one new Indian State that I missed out before.
