I guess they'd only just invaded Iberia in 1099, you could assume the great learnings of Cordoba still kind of existed. It wasn't like Cordoban art and literature and science was extinguished overnight.

Lots of tiny Taifa balls reading and fighting would probably be a bit hard to draw.

Frankly I'm more interested in the Danish kite.

I like the fact that Britain still has a top-hat in 1992. Says a lot about our international image. :p

That timeline thing is awesome!
@ Madman;
I didn't make that map but according to wikipedia they still have it but haven't used it since 1996, so it should be orange.

Was unsure where to post this. Here or in cool pictures or in historic photos.

Whatever.

Faeroe Islands?

"Epic" India.

It's not that epic.

I wouldn't know, I haven't actually read any of the Hindu texts.

Anyway, here's one of the more comprehensive map of Native American/Amerindian/Indian nations of the United States I can find with a five minute Google search. Enjoy.

Warning: extremely large, I mean seriously

So the people closest related to Adam and Eve are... the Chinese?

"Hebreux", "Assyriens" and "Chinois" are all branching off adam and eve there. So that would mean Hebrews, Assyrians and chinese were considered the most ancient peoples at that time.

Not that the pic isnt full of other historical inaccuracies and biases, but I find it very strange that the scandinavians branch off the slavs and not the germans.

Its not strange, its simply incorrect :p

I noticed that as well

Not to mentions all the peoples who appear out of thin air, a feat which the Arabs manage to achieve twice. :crazyeye:
