Civ'ed
I ain't gotta explain a thing
one of my little Civ'edian Chaos Projects aka a new idiotic map by yours truly.
Apparently it's in 1399 AD. Of course, being a Civ'ed map observer, you will never realize this.
The large... er... thing in Europe is the Holy Ulmer Empire (listen, if you wanted something realistic you would never have looked at this post), which, after a lot of deals, managed to take over just about everything. Except Iberia. And Russia. And the balkan. And England. And most of Scandinavia.
Let's start with Iberia. There's a war on with Portugal, and now castille is obviously in trouble. Meanwhile Catalonia just sits there, sulking and planning an invasion of North Catalonia which was lost to the HUE (huehuehuehue
(sorry, couldn't resist)). Morocco sits comfortably while the rest of North Africa has been conquered by the declincing Berber Sultanate of Egypt, which is at war with the Turko-Timurid-Arab alliance. the Ottomans are strangely the leader of this little alliance, and it's newly appointed governor of Al-Iskandariya is becoming a bit angry with inaction. Ottoman expanison has been hemmed in however.
So, Byelorussia. used to own a lot more land but then someone took control of Ulm and that's that. In return, it hammered novgorod, which still owns Osel. No problems from the Tartars or Astrakhanis, who are frankly too interested in the Timurid empire.
As we see the massive thing that is the timurids, I introduce you to Hindustan (bravely fighting a lost struggle for ten years already) and Tibetistan (friendly with the timurids). then, China is in Civil war between the Ming (yellow) and Xibei (Purple, sorry for the crap name), with Japan being very Japanese in its China policy.
Oh yes, Scandinavia and Britain. I forgot about these, but frankly, they're independent from the HUE.
Note:
I did NOT, NOT pick Holy Ulmer Empire for the abbrevation.
Also, the map's pretty much WIP, South East Asia needs to be done and the timeline extended both ways.
Spoiler :
