Altered Maps XII: Not to Scale

I Wonder where from does this wealth come. You don't have oil like Norway and you haven't robbed any colonies like Britain.

We do have oil, actually. It's a little unknown; but when agreeing on sea borders, our prime mister was an idiot and gave Norway the lion's share at the time. I don't know what went wrong there. There's a rumor going about that he was simply drunk.

Other than that though, we have a skilled, educated population and excel in the service industry.

But still: Norway>Denmark

Other than Greenland, the Faeroes, Iceland, Ireland, Anglo-Saxon England, mediaeval Norway and the like. :)

Lets not forget danish Virgin Islands.

Also Trankebar (Tharangambadi) and Serampore in India (spice) and a number of tradings stations on the gold coast of west Africa (slaves), notably Fort Frederiksborg in present day Ghana.

Does anyone here have a large terrain map of the Malaysian Peninsula? I couldn't find a good map on google.

I couldn't agree more.

I recall reading that Tolkien based his map of Europe, so Gondor is Greece ann Mordor is Turkey.

Hobbiton is approximately Oxford, as I recall, with Minas Tirith somewhere in France.

i thought you lived between Gondor and Helm's Deep. D:

It's a bit confusing because Central Europe is hard to see, but somewhere in a square between Helms Deep, Minas Morgul, Mt. Doom and Isengard lies my home.
I really shouldn't be alive.
