If one wishes to take a (possibly not that realistic or crucial) more forgiving view, perhaps in Austria/Germany/UK/France/Sweden etc it is more common/easier to report such.

I wouldn't say he nailed it, but to me it looks like the prussian eagle got attached to a very pig-headed dog which is mesmerized by a constellation.

Come to think of it, I think I could draw Europe's borders better than the USAs. All those CK and EU hours.

Belgian UFO wave. Sightings displayed in media brought greater awareness, leading to more reports and exposure. It snowballed for a little while before it ran outta steam.

Also probably down to the term UFO originally being pretty restricted to the Anglosphere.

EDIT: I remember, really vaguely, that this map was posted on Reddit and some commenters suggested it was a visualization of reports I think to MUFON? They're an American organization so if true you would sorta expect the general distribution you see there, just because of language barriers, but I never looked into what the map was based on personally.

it is an American thing. Proves UFOs are interested only in the biggest power in the world. Like everything else is an American friend or an American target , too .

Weird how he put Hawaii in the same relative position that bears no relation to reality. Almost like he copied the picture.
