If one wishes to take a (possibly not that realistic or crucial) more forgiving view, perhaps in Austria/Germany/UK/France/Sweden etc it is more common/easier to report such.Austria is rather alarming.
Yes reported rates of really any crime may or may not be useful indicators of actual rates

Is that percentage of people reporting crimes, or percentage of crime victims reporting crimes? And is the self-reporting of the reporting of crimes itself subject to a reporting bias?
