Not sure what the non-Aegean-coastal Anatolian one is. Hopefully independent Magnesia.
The map-maker must really hate Serbia.
Switzerland has a bigger population than the restored Byz Empire (and Scotland has the same...) - but in a great (and even in a gerat) war one would expect other states to lose millions of people.

Somebody's Greek wet dream.

20 seats in Scotland? Cornwall, Devon and Dorset have 2.6 million people living there and Wales 3.1, which is more than Scotland's 5.4 or so.

the level of required ethnic cleansing is already mentioned . Pretty sure Istanbul as a city has more people than Greece and Bulgaria combined . Possibly can bring in a couple former Yugoslav states as well to make the balance , too .

like people do expect me to respond to territorial claims and demands , right ? The perfect place to use a Phantom picture .

Spoiler :

to remind Fleet Standart 71 stuff , that comes with stuff that enables long range engagements against a certain neighbour of ours . Currently can't exactly do that , even if it has been changed again ...

in the war up North one of the sides has noticed a certain US company is not offering plans for the future . That company intends to leave the defence sector so offering things now only delays the business plans and the conversion . Though the side thinks the company has foreseen a different outcome to the war . To that end the Bidon Administration pressured both Greeks and the warring side for the transfer of Greek Phantoms . Which is a stupid move in itself but would prove the American company is with the good against the evil . The war will be followed by extreme bitterness , keeping the morale etc etc ... Phantom adds nothing to the war effort itself the F-16 can not provide . So , Greek F-16s are now being lined up for transfer . Logic would have dictated the requirement for standardization would get more European F-16s , instead of a brand "new" engine to support in a war zone . Like even ex American F-16 Block 42s to Europe and Greek 30s to training units in the US , but , hey , that requires logic .

so , considering can't use Phantoms , what's it going to be ? Do people prefer Red or Blue ? The inventors of the bazooka or the conehead ?

It's almost as bizarre as being unaware that Serbia is viewed positively in Greece, consequently subsets of mapmaker identities are ruled out. The ills of ignorance ^^
Still, for Serbia to have just 1 representative (when Gibraltar has 3), it would need to be a genocide.

It's only a very rough map, so I was just using those three as an approximation. The Wales area also seems to include non-Welsh bits.

Giving Gibraltar 3, when its population is 32,720, is not an approximation of anything.

One'd also suppose that England at worst would stay neutral, instead of siding with Russia (the obvious loser in this map's timeline), so it would have kept its own territory intact ^^
Inferred Russian allies (from territory changes) seem to be Serbia, Turkey and Belarus. Spain's break up apparently is unrelated to the war (likely the same is true for Bulgaria annexing former Fyrom).
Malta, on the other hand, is simply forgotten and almost not even on the map (unless it's represented by a union with either of the larger regional island nations).

I didn't notice that, to be fair. I'm more surprised that Ireland has reunited, but somehow Gibraltar is still independent.

Keep in mind that the map is just someone's fantasy. There is no reason for any of it to be logical or even reasonable
