America: Write Your Own History

Adams

It's too early for Marx, not to mention Lenin. They might come later. Also, not born in the US. Perhaps some imaginary American communist could emerge?

Mayhaps Marx could immigrate into the US in this alternate timeline? Some decades down the line of course, as of right now he is but a rowdy teenager.

Madison
I think everyone is itching for some action against the British.

Madison

His term will be done somewhere in the next 4 hours. Sorry for the lack of eloquence on this post.

War of 1812

With Madison sweeping the election, and the country urging the government to declare war on the imperial power of Britain, Madison gave the orders for the USS Constitution to blockade ships from entering or leaving Quebec.

In 1816, Napoleon's war was at a point of no return. He lost all his vassals, with some joining together to form large alliances to bring down Napoleon. For instance, Austria joined Spain; an odd move, as the Spanish Empire was nearly gone in the New World with the rise of Colombia.

Madison also began a colonization project of Hawaii.

Overall, the conquest of Canada is not going as quickly as would have been liked, and three cannon divisions have been lost, but Madison says he has total confidence that the war will be won.

Unfortunately, Madison said he will not run again in the next election. He will retire to Montpelier, to his tobacco plantation in Virginia.

Two Confederations of the Rhine at the same time?
James Monroe

Well, in fact, it is the Confedaration of the Rhine and the Confedaration of the Danube :D

Monroe

Wants to seek peace with Britain after the capture of Quebec City.
Let's be honest: You want to kill the Federalist party aren't you?

No I believe Rufus would have actually found that a reasonable compromise. I imagine the Federalists would seek both what is easy to capture (Quebec City), while wanting to end the war quickly before it possibly turned bad with the English shifting their forces to the New World. Beyond that I'd rather not delve into my opinion.

With that said, I can fairly say that with a 6:0 difference, Madison sweeps the 1816 election.
