This map is a life changer for us.The TSL map, is, still, eh, it would be still better to use Workshop maps, unless Atlantis or something actually showed up. (Sorry Console players)
Don't get me wrong. I don't feel disappointed because they didn't buff Poland, but because those changes, in general, are small tweaks.I think Poland also should get a significant benefit from the Winged Hussar integrating better with cavalry units, right?
Personally, only the Khmer and Mapuche have gotten enough of a rework to feel like they are worth playing again. I'm going to give the Khmer another go but, even with the changes, the Mapuche don't seem like they are worth giving a try.
IMO the changes are pretty significant. Flipping cities won't be as easy as Elanor but still I think could be fun especially in Dramatic Ages mode where you're likely to get a ton of free cities.

Egypt's actually one of my favorite civs.No mention of some of the most boring, weak civs like Egypt. Not a good sign.
I'd say Spain's rework is significant enough for me to give them another go. The trade route bonuses are significant as are the new continent bonuses. Changes them from purely trying to win a religious victory to being able to build a wide trading empire.
If i understand it correctly they can be upgraded to from chariots now, which imo is really big for their military.I think Poland also should get a significant benefit from the Winged Hussar integrating better with cavalry units, right?

Because units can skip upgrade tiers? If i haven't upgrade my swords and i researched infantry, i can upgrade those swords into infantry directly. The same applies here as they're all in the same Heavy Cavalry unit class. I believe Knights have to be researched, but no intermediate upgrade is needed if you get both Stirrups and Mercenaries (both Medieval tech/civic btw). Why do you think this? The Cuirasser upgrades from the Knight, which would apply to the Wing Hussar.
Very strange change to Poland, they said that "Poland has no bonuses to founding a religion" yet Poland gets a Wildcard at Code of Laws and can quickly slot in Revelation for +2 Prophet points per turn.
Some of the buffs defy any explanation. A science buff to Ikandas. What nonsense is this? To help them when they're already great
