That doesn't mean anything about Twinkies' availability in Quebec. The only info I could find was that one of our cakes, the "May West", is known as the equivalent of USA's Twinkies.

Maybe it is if there are May Wests that don't have chocolate....

There's also one called "Demi-Lune" which may be a more appropriate comparison, but I've never eaten a Twinkie, seen a box of Twinkie, or seen anyone with a Twinkie here. I dunno. There are similar things though. It's like a half May West with no chocolate...

We have them here, but they're not as common as they are south of the border. Vachon cakes are the standard here.
