I don't know if this particualr thread has been started before (although I do know a bagillion of this type of thread have been). But I hail from Texas, a pretty unique place considering its culture and history. So ask any question you'd like to know about Texas and I'm sure myself (or any of my follow Texans on this board) can answer it in a timely fashion.

The stereotype of Texans, at least where I live in Oregon, is that they are koolaid drinking Republicans who revere bush in a Kim Jong-Ilian fashion, and hunt gay people with lever action rifles. Do you fit this mold?

If I'm to visit Texas, where should I go and what stuff should I see? What places in Texas really have a lot to offer?

I always mess with texas. And I refuse to capitalize the state's name. . Whatch gonna do about it?

If you are going to go around with a slogan "don't mess with texas", expect people to mess with it just to piss you off.

A better slogan would be "mess with texas", then people wouldn't.
